My review isn't based on the food but of the staff. When the food is great and the staff are foul, it's not worth going back. Not for me anyway. I support businesses who's staff match the excellence of the food. Every individual who has a job at a restaurant/food industry should always have a good attitude. I get really tired of hearing excuses. When I worked in the industry I ALWAYS showed the customer kindness. No matter how bad my say was. To do otherwise was unacceptable. If you hate your job or think it's ok to be rude, you shouldn't be working there. There are people who will gladly take your place. Believe me. You are replaceable. My fiance called in an order here for two items. My car battery died and I needed a jump. I immediately contacted the restaurant to see if it would be OK I was running a few moments late or if I could pay over the phone to make things easier. I let them know I'd be over just as quick as possible. While driving I received a call from the restaurant by staff who kept repeatedly asking me questions. I'd pulled over as I do not use my phone and drive. He kept saying "Well we're closed so how long" I told him that I'd called a few moments earlier to let the restaurant know what happened and asked if I'd still be able to pick it up. Yet. The person who called me was questioning me and continued to after I explained already. After the last time of repeating myself he said "Well.were closed" as if he heard absolutely nothing I said. I told him I needed to drive and politely told him I couldn't spend time on the phone and to please revert to his coworker who took my payment minutes earlier. Once I arrived he was standing by the door and didn't say a word. I tried to say thank you and he closed the door without a peep. He did not need to say anything. His actions and his face said it all. I ALWAYS leave at least 20%. Not this time. I do not condone behavior I wouldn't take part in myself. It's one thing to show up late and demand food. It's another when you call before the fact having ordered 40 minutes ago to let them know what happened and ASK if it's ok to still come. I would have understood. its part of things happening that are out of our control. It is not acceptable to behave like a jerk. I won't ever come back based on his...

I was honestly skeptical to dine here, given the reviews, and my skepticism was warranted. The food was atrocious, and the portion size was unreasonably small. We ordered the Palermo Pasta, and it was utterly flavorless. It lacked the basic seasoning of a pasta and the most appealing part of it was the cheese on top. We had to add excess salt, pepper, and even some chili just to get a little bit of flavor. I was surprised by the lack of quality in the dish and was severely disappointed. Even more appalling, I found a long stray hair in my dish. I was disgusted and mortified, I suggest investing in hairnets. Due to our terrible experience we weren’t even able to finish dining, because the food tossed on our stomach with disgust. My companion and I packed our food and left. Circling back to the pasta, there were whole chunks of garlic swimming in the sauce. It tasted like burnt unsalted butter. The sauce itself was watery and bland, overall adding to the unappealing taste. The oil to sauce ratio was absolutely horrendous, as the after taste still remains in my mouth. But I must admit, the service was decent, all the waiters were kind and on task, accommodating to customer needs. Overall I recommend improving the food quality and sanitation of the food service. Very disappointed in the meal I received and this was not worth the $27 I paid. Especially in such a bustling location, I believe investing in proper food instead of the bland and water dish I was served would be extremely beneficial to improve ratings and customer satisfaction. I can see why there was...

I recently dined at Crepevine in Mountain View for dinner with my family. The restaurant was bustling, clearly a popular spot in the area.
We ordered the Bombay Savory Crepe and the Sunset Crepes. The Bombay Crepe was flavorful, with a delightful mix of spices, and it came with an option to include two sides. We chose the salad and fries. The salad was quite basic, consisting of just greens and shredded carrot, and the fries were not well-seasoned, which was a bit disappointing.
The Sunset Crepe, a dessert option, was served with ice cream and whipped cream. Unfortunately, the whipped cream had nearly melted by the time it reached our table, resulting in soggy crepes that were difficult to eat. While my kids enjoyed the ice cream, they found the bananas and strawberries to be mushy and slimy, which detracted from the overall experience. For those who are particular about food texture, this dish may not be ideal.
The service at Crepevine was commendable. Despite the restaurant being full, our food arrived promptly, which we appreciated.
Overall, Crepevine offers excellent service and a pleasant dining atmosphere. While the Bombay Savory Crepe is highly recommended, the Sunset Crepe could benefit from some adjustments to improve its texture and presentation. If you visit, you can expect a lively environment and prompt service, making it a good spot for a...
