This is a first rate park right behind the Mountain View Public Library. As a mom, I love that there is NO play structure here and the kids have to use their imagination and remain in tune with nature. The child-sized bronze statues by the library exit always have curious kids playing pretend or exploring around. The gently undulating landscape, framed by curving foot paths, accented by beautiful old trees, invites exploration by kids all too eager to freely roam around while parents relax on picnic blankets have clear view of the little ones.

Read moreI come here a lot to Ingress and walk my dog. It is a nice park. There are no bathrooms in the park but the library adjacent to the park has public bathrooms. Even though we have a drought they over water the lawn and sidewalks at night. Sometimes there are mushy spots in the lawn the next day. I have seen yoga classes in the park. Dogs must be leashed. There are no playground facilities for children, its pretty much a big lawn for freestyle enjoyment.

When Pokemon Go was very popular, scores of people would gather here day and night playing for hours on end (there are several poke stops here). Moreover, you can find lots of families playing here, people on dates and picnics, spaces to relax, and access to downtown.
