Panaderia La Imperial — Restaurant in Mountain View

This place has great Ice Cream, Pan Dulce, and delicious Mexican "Chucherias" but the customer service is Horrible! I have gone there many times always with a great attitude and smiles hoping I will be treated nice this time and thinking maybe the cashier was having a bad day last time. I came but it's always the same. They are lazy and refuse to do their job. I ask nicely for something on their menu and they refuse to do it because supposedly they didn't have any more. When I could clearly see that they did. It pricey and what they sell definitely is not worth what they charge for. There are no places like these near by, the closest are in RWC and San Jose so if you must have "Chucherias" definitely Go but don't expect good...

it's hard to find an authentic Mexican bakery in the peninsula area. It's "relatively easy" in San Francisco or San Jose, but in between, there are no good options. Believe me, I've tried them all.

This is definitely an excellent choice. It has a variety of pan dulce, bolillo, telera (if you know you, know), and Mexican bisquets!!! Ordered day of the dead bread for my classes. They came out great mini sized for covid restrictions everyone had to have their own plus saved me time having to cut pieces. Reasonably priced.
