MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Mukilteo

I had a bit of an issue with one of the employees. He tossed the cup for the drink at the counter ensted of setting it down or just handing it to us. It slammed down on it's side and slid across the counter. I nicely asked if that's how he usually gives a drink cup and he replied it just happens. I am sure they where just having a bad day however I don't think I will be going back for a while. Hopefully that staff member will have a Change of attitude or be replaced. I don't go out to eat to deal with rude employees I do understand bad days however it's called being professional. I have no complaints over the food they did a great job. The dining area was clean and presentable no dirty tables no trash. The bathrooms where in ok order however the air didn't work for the hand dryer. This in an edit from a 5 star from a year ago as I have been going here one to three times a month for quite awhile. I honestly don’t know how this Mod Pizza location has a 4.6 rating. I’ve been to other Mod restaurants and never had the issues I’ve had here. This is my third visit, and once again, the pizza was undercooked. I spent almost $30 hoping for a quick dinner for my kids so I could skip cooking—but instead, I had to finish baking the pizza at home. It was that raw. Even after putting it in the oven, it still didn’t taste right. My kids refused to eat it, and I couldn’t blame them. I forced myself to try a couple slices just so the money wouldn’t go completely to waste, but it was unappetizing, and I gave up. This can’t just be a coincidence after three bad experiences. I won’t be coming back to this location. I like Mod Pizza overall, but I’ll stick to other locations...

We lived in Italy for several years, so I can be a bit persnickety when it comes to thin crust, fired pizzas. MOD does a great job of blending the delicious crust with customizable flavor combos that you don't really get in Puglia. Is it as good as in Italy? No. It can't be...part of what makes Italian pizza great is, you're IN Italy. The smells, the environment, the water, the flour, the tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella all contribute to the experience.
