Had a wonderful first visit here. The lady who works here was very kind and sweet. She was very patient and informative since my son and I had never been we had a lot of questions. I've never tried any of this kind of doughnut or food before. I'm so glad I did because it was amazing and delicious! I loved the way the drinks are made there but sealed with a pop can lid. Very convenient for travel, if you don't want to drink it right away. I tried the churros honey doughnut because I was nervous on what to try. My son had the chocolate. Both were very good. But the honey was kind of plain. She offered me a free tiramisu because that's her favorite and that was delicious! I also got brown sugar Bobo drink and it was the best I've had in town. I also had the potato mozzarella stick. I was suprised that it was sweet and had sugar on it. She gave me a yum yum sauce and said I must try it! So glad she did because the potato mozzarella stick paired perfect with the yum yum sauce. My son tried the hot cheeto mozzarella stick with a spicy sauce. He loved it and he love his strawberry drink. Says he wants to come before school everyday for a drink. Needless to say this place is awesome and you should definitely go...
Read moreIt was such a delight to find this place after looking for sourdough donuts throughout my trip in Indiana. If you’re looking for chewy, less sugary and baked (not fried!) donuts, this IS the place for you. I was never a fan of cakey, sugary donuts and have always preferred the yeast-leavened/ sourdough type of donuts , so this was a really good substitute! I ordered the crème brûlée and mango in minis and they were so fresh and delicious. Not into bobas but I decided to get their match boba and it was the perfect accompaniment to the donuts. It was my first time trying mochi donuts and I’ve been craving for it eversince I got back to Hawaii. My only regret was not trying out the donuts from...
Read moreVisited Mochinut on a rainy weekday evening at 7pm and was immediately struck by its popularity; there was a queue of customers eager to get their hands on the famous treats (see photo).
I opted for several Mochinuts and a Potato Halfhalf Hotdog. The Mochinut, I believe, is crafted from rice cake, giving it a delightful Asian flair that I'm confident will appeal to American palates as well. The hotdog was a standout too, incredibly crunchy and satisfying.
I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the place, especially considering it rains outside.
While everything was great, I'm hoping to see a spicy hotdog option in the future! Highly recommend visiting Mochinut for a unique and...
