Twice in the past couple of months this place has been a complete waste of my time.
On the first incident I brought over a dozen high-end computer graphic cards to have packaged and shipped out. The agent was very helpful and helped me pick out boxes that would fit the orders and got everything ready to the tune of over $500 dollars worth of my business with insurance, packaging, etc. No complaints from me.
The following week Iâm back in the store to ship a few more high-dollar orders that Iâve received payment for. I go in with my several boxes, all organized and paperwork ready to go. I grabbed a couple of the same boxes from the same exact spot in the shelf that I had used previously to put the graphics cards in and the lady behind the counter said that I couldnât use those boxes to ship these items. (It was a different lady than I had dealt with a few days before; and this ones name tag said owner).
I asked why not and she said that my items would not be insured. I informed her that her associate had packaged over a dozen orders just this past week of the exact same types of expensive items and that I had spent over $500 dollars doing so, paying the premium for the insurance. She said that it didnât matter and that if I shipped those items in those boxes (they were plenty sturdy btw) that insurance wouldnât cover any damage. I asked her what about my current items that were still still in transit and what if I had to make an insurance claim on one of those? I asked would it be covered since it was packed by the UPS store and to be shipped by UPS. And she said it wouldnât, but they would âdefinitely go to bat for meâ. She also said that despite being the UPS store that werenât actually affiliated with UPS. They ended up selling me a couple of very expensive boxes but only because my time was limited and the items absolutely had to ship. I promised myself that I wouldnât use them again for anything that was going to cost me money. they were either incompetent, dishonest or some combination of the two.
The second incident was well over a month or two later when I was just dropping off a package that was a warranty return that the manufacturer had provided the return label for. There only job was to take the already-paid-for package from me and hand it to the real UPS man (because remember: the owner says they are not affiliated with UPS) when he showed up. Very elementary. The owner lady at the front counter sees the rifle logo on the box and asks if it is a firearm, to which I reply that it was, and she said she wouldnât take it and that Iâd have to take it to âthe hubâ. I told her that it was already paid for, insured, and in he original box that it shipped UPS in; but she wasnât swayed (and yes, you can legally ship firearms under certain criteria; no laws were being broken here).
Iâm done with this location. I wonât even take stuff that I can do for free here. Theyâre that bad. Even the guy in front of me at the counter was unhappy with them (got there too late to know the full story why though).
Avoid and go...
Read moreEdit: visited again today, 6/20/24.I was charged $3.51 to have a label retrieved from email and printed.
This place is a joke. The Postal Annex down the road does it for free.
Staff is super nice, though!!!
I visited this location to return a package from Amazon. Amazon sent me an email that contained the complete label, with an option to email the label to a third party, so I didn't bother printing it at home. I assumed that just like the Post Office or FedEx, they would print the label for me at no cost. I arrived at this UPS store, and after waiting in line altogether too long waiting for the employees to get done talking to each other, I get told that there will be a series of fees that I have to pay in order for them to print this email. The associate wasn't completely sure of the breakdown of the charges themselves, but overall it ended up being just over $3.00 to open an email, open the attachment, print a single piece of paper and affix it to a box. This is an absolute joke. If this is a corporate store, they shouldn't do that, and if this is an independently owned store, they get a kickback for every package they handle, so they actually gain money by taking these packages, which would offset the printing cost.I kept my package and left because I have a printer at home and go to the office once a week and we have a UPS dropbox I was going to put this in. Coincidentally, I was in such disbelief that this place charged $3 to print a single sheet of paper that I called the next store on Google in the area that takes UPS packages, and I was informed by the Postal Annex further down the road that they would be happy to print the label for me for free. They were in between this UPS store and my house, so I dropped it off on the way home for no charge, and I couldn't have been happier. This...
Read moreSHERRY the associate from this store is the worst associate I have ever dealt with in my life!!!!!!! This is only my second Google review ever, but customers need to know about her.
Today I came in to overnight a very important document and check. I was asking to look at and double check the information including the address and several other items etc to make sure it went to the right spot.
The associate SHERRY was literally the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life in a store. She kept hurrying me, dismissing me, talking to me SUPER passive aggressively, and at the end snatched off the receipt. Then started snickering with a coworker.
I am appalled she is allowed to still work there the way she treats customers!! And especially considering that my item to ship was a very time sensitive check. Beware of her and this store!!! I am absolutely floored by my experience today. I never leave reviews but this is my first! Horrible awful terrible experience !!!!! I canât believe she is allowed to continue to be an employee here.
Also if you have a passive aggressive response or finger pointing response to this like you have in many of other 1-star reviews that all mention terrible customer service, you are proving this entire experience.!!
I will not be coming back to this location. And will also be speaking with higher ups at UPS since I have friends who work there.
No wonder you guys only have 3.6 stars!!...
