I’ve been to this location several times because it’s close to my house. However 9 times out of 10 the wait is exceptionally longer than expected, and even longer inside. (even during non peak times)
Last night I ordered the Mr. Beast Box and waited over 20 minutes for my food and it was not fresh. There were maybe 2 other customers in the store and I don’t believe the drive through was “that” busy. As I sat there waiting, an employee asked me if I’d ordered. I told him yes and he said my food had been sitting behind the counter, but he’d have them make it over. It came out like 3 minutes later, and when he brought it out, only the bread had been freshly prepared. Either the other food items were re-dropped in the fryer, or it was microwaved.
My fries, cheddar bites, and chicken were all tough and chewy to some degree. I ordered my food for dine in and it was prepared to go, i paid for a wimpy sauce that was missing, and i had to ask for the candy bar that comes with the meal. Granted, i placed my order at 9:12pm which is less than an hour before closing. But should I not expect fresh food during operating hours? I would’ve BEEN done eating and out of the way had my food come out on time. So as I’m gathering my things to leave, the employee bussing the tables is standing right by my side with the rag watching me and waiting. I get they’re trying to close and get home (which it was still prior to closing time), but YALL’s negligence is why I’m still here, at least stand off to the side while I get out of your way.

Read moreWe were in town for a soccer tournament and went in for dinner. We ordered at 836pm. There was 1 other table there that already ate. I waited 15 min went to check food. Said there only 2 cooks yet food was leaving the drive thru no problem. A girl came in ordered got her food&left in 2 minutes so I ask again what's going on and request the manager who appeared to be like 20 and he said bc we had a lot of food. We had 2 Chicken finger meals, 1 sandwich and fries. I said how'd she get her food don't y'all do it in order and was told no. At this point it's been 20-25 min. Finally get food & it's wrong. So at this point I'm irritated. I've drove 3 hours been at the fields for 5 hours & we're hungry and tired. So I just take the food and told the cashier they were all rude & the manager sucked. The table in there that obviously was just friends w the workers started yelling at us, cussing at my teenage children and started trying to fight my husband. Staff did nothing until things escalated to the point my husband had his hand on his gun bc the dude left &barged back in aggressively approaching our table that was backed in a corner. Finally someone pushed him to a back corner so we left w cold, wrong food, no apology, no refund, nothing. Not only will I NEVER come here again, I'll never support Zaxby's ever again at any chain in any state. Absurd this place allowed their paying customers to be treated this way. Go literally ANYWHERE else. To the GM and owner, watch you video tapes from 5/11 from 836pm on and fire your staff or retrain them! This really could have ended extremely badly. P.S. Read moreWalked in and waited for line for 10 real-time minutes, which would be no problem if we weren’t just the second people in line— and the people in front of us weren’t ordering slow; the lady at the register was so uneducated about her job, it makes me doubt she’s ever been trained. Although, apparently she has worked there for a while! So after we finally get through the line, and we’re at the register, she starts calling out people’s orders for the millionth time because she yells in like -25 decibels to the point where she’s not even using an inside voice. Just a whisper almost. So after 10 minutes of her trying to get food delivered, she gives up and gets to us. I tried to use a gift card, but she kept cancelling it and then saying she didn’t know why it wasn’t working; so I just paid with card to get it over with. After I get the food ordered, I watched 4 groups get the same treatment. I’m standing off to the side near the door so that I can actually get my order. Once I do, my sister opened her nibblers meal to the WORST CHICKEN WE HAVE EVER SEEN! so nasty and we’re pretty much burnt croissants. Personally though, the fries were great, so no problem there. Although the Texas toast wasn’t even cut + burnt. Overall, the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. This is also my first review on google ever.
