I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this location, largely due to Jessica( who actually lied and told me her name was Janet) the general manager. After a 12-hour shift, I stopped by for dinner, only to find multiple mistakes with my order when I got homeâmissing items, an incorrectly made sandwich, and no drink.
When I called to address the issue, the staff seemed confused, and after being passed around, I was told to come in for a resolution. Upon arrival, I was ignored for several minutes before Jessicaâwho I later learned was the GMâangrily barked at a staff member to assist me. When she finally came over, she was immediately dismissive, aggressively snatched my order from my hands, and slammed the items on the counter while reviewing them. When I pointed out unsanitary practices I witnessed in the kitchen, she shrugged it off, claiming gloves made it acceptable. (For the record, I have this recorded and will be reporting it.)
Janet ultimately refunded me but couldnât even process it correctlyârefunding me more than I paid. When I pointed it out and asked for the exact amount, she refused to fix it. If a general manager canât even balance a register, thatâs a red flag. Throughout the entire interaction, she was rude, hostile, and unapologetic. By the end, she even told me I was no longer welcome at this location. Honestly, no problem thereâI wouldn't return anyway.
Customer service should be rooted in professionalism and kindness, and Janet demonstrated neither. If this is the kind of leadership Panera tolerates, I strongly suggest they reconsider who they...
Read moreWhat an awful experience this was. As you walk in the door, the menu to choose what you want to eat is located right where you place your order and you have nothing to look at while you're waiting in line, as seen in the picture. Secondly, the little kiosk where you can place your order is flawed to say the least. It only lets you order for one person. When you're done ordering an item there's no option to choose a second entree or anything else. Just a checkout button. REALLY? So since we were forced to place an order at the cashier, we were told they were out of sausage for my pizza which made me rethink my whole lunch as I had my mouth set on some pizza. Really? Out of sausage at noon on Sunday? Next, they offer no sort of veterans or senior discount. Then there's the dining room. At noon on Sunday even with the shades pulled down it's still far too bright, but one of the shades was broken so whoever gets stuck sitting in that area gets blinded and baked. Then, the order window where you pick up your food is far too congested with people waiting on their items that are supposed to be ready but aren't. They need to hire a couple staff members to bring your food to you like they do at Hawaiian Brothers. Lastly, the food was a joke. The chicken sandwich that you see in the picture cost me 12 bucks. It was tiny and tasteless, and I could have gone to Arby's and gotten TWO much better chicken sandwiches for 6 or 7 bucks. I will most definitely NOT be returning to...

"Been a long time coming".
But too small.
Does the price of real estate matter that much?
Forney, and Plano near Collin Creek, have such deserved space (an appeal) for the volume of business, and Murphy is busier, especially at its chosen crossroads, as likely intended. Is this location not for staying a while, for some privacy to chat at one's table? More on an airport design, disappointingly.
Finally decided to order food since location is always busy, indoors and drive-thru, not just my usual Sip Club self-service.
None of the food items were presented to reflect the menu photos, as the Panera Bread brand typically does. Why?
Masala soup had no rice atop, nor within, the ingredients.
Napa Chicken Salad sandwich of a Value Duet was mostly (delicious) "emerald greens", as if a lettuce sandwich with a chicken salad spread (accented with remarkably sweet grapes).
The bread cases, and artisan breads, are impressive -- if only the place was designed with customer-friendly spacing to showcase the showcase.
