One of the few places that has lavender flavouring!! Itâs so hard to find a coffee shop that has lavender. I was convinced I just had to buy a bottle and take it everywhere đ€Ł Super cute little cafĂ© with a little shop (Art Garden) attached. Love the book exchange and lots of natural light! Just one of those feel-good places that you can tell takes a little extra care. I ordered a lemon puff, quiche muffin, and lavender vanilla oat milk latte. Holy All-Things-That-Are-Good! That lemon puff was to die for!! Iâm a big pasty fan and my oh my, they nailed it with that thing. Strong lemon flavour without being sour, super airy and puffy pastry. And only $1.50. It disappeared too quickly đ Next time Iâm getting 5 haha. At least! Quiche (ham, spinach, egg with looks like Colby Jack cheese, tomato, and avocado on top) is super dense, tasty, and filling! (Itâs called a muffin just because they cook it in a muffin tin.) It comes with an optional side of yummy (no spice) salsa. Latte is just about perfect! The flavouring doesnât cover up the taste of the drink but adds some sweetness that isnât too overpowering. Only thing is I wish I could taste the lavender more. But I donât want more sweetness so this might be a âcake and eating it tooâ kind of...
Read moreInstantly charmed. This is a small, well-cared for cafe with very good staff. The place was nearly full when I decided to try them for the first time, but the lovely woman at the counter was calm and collected. She listened attentively, and offered the kind of experiened-interaction I always hope for. I found them on a search for breakfast sandwiches, and God bless them for making those throughout the day. I tried their Gingerbread latte, and found it too syrupy and sweet for my liking, and the gal offered to fix it for me. The sandwich was exactly what I had been hoping for, something a little better than homemade. Far above the sad attempts at Starbucks. For $10 I got a very sizable egg and ham sandwich on a croissant, with what Starbucks would call a generous 'grande' and an adorable pastry called a Lemon puff. I'd say very worth it for the price. Cheaper and better than Starbucks. The only downside was that the small dining room was very noisy and they have wire 'bistro' chairs. I will...
Read moreWhat a treasure! This coffee shop does all the things. Great customer service, wonderful food and beverages and a beautiful atmosphere. Itâs also adjacent to a wonderful garden shop full of great gifts. I tried the special of the day which was a crab Louie sandwich with a wonderful salad full of yummy things. And their oat milk latte was perfect. From another trip here I would highly recommend you just try whatever theyâre special of the day is because itâs going to be amazing. Iâm having a cranberry chicken salad which is gorgeous and came with a toasted cheesy breadstick. And I have a new favorite beverage now thanks to Zoey! Itâs Matcha with coconut! I never wouldâve thought that one up but she did and it is delicious. And now Iâve tried their mocha and it is divine!...
