Southwood Park — Attraction in Murray

Walked there with our two Pomeranians this evening and enjoyed it for the most part. However, someone came with 3 dogs who were off leash and that is troubling. We've been attacked several times from dogs who were off leash, and my two were on leash. They're terrified of other dogs now and so all I. Please let your dogs while out in public parks. The park itself was well maintained and had nice amenities like a sidewalk for walking around the park, play area for kids, lots of grass, covered picnic area, tennis courts, and public restrooms. Fun, safe, open park with plenty of parents and kids there. Tennis courts are in good condition and usually not crowded. The playground is also in good shape and has slides, monkey bars, climbing walls, rope walls and balancing beams. There is a pavilion with a fireplace that is clean. There are bathrooms too they haven't ever been open during fall and winter seasons though. Lastly there is really great large grass area that is big enough for soccer or football games and frisbee...

This place has a great Pavilion, with well situated tables. The playground looks really fun. Tennis courts and large fields too! Parking seems sufficient.

I'm wondering how the fireplace is used? I can see gathering around a "blazer" with hot chocolate and marshmallows as a youth or singles group for snow play in the winter.
