I don't like to give a bad review. Usually I'll ignore it and just move on. However, this situation was pretty bad that I need to share my review in hope to wake up the owner and address the issue.
I'm super thrilled that they opened up in this location. It's near my gym (EOS) and my favorite drink place (Dutch Bros). The best part is... it's literally on the way home from work! So when I'm craving for a yummy meal I can stop by without needing to take a detour to Midvale!
But unfortunately, I'm probably going to keep visiting Midvale. Their store is incredibly clean. Their staff are absolutely wonderful! SO friendly! They don't stop being amazing for 1 minute!
Let me give you an example of how wonderful they (Midvale) were. I placed an order online and had a later pickup time. I was 10 minutes early when I came in. Because they didn't have any order on the counter so they immediately assumed they were late and apologized to me. I clarified that it wasn't them! I was just early and not in a rush at all! They still apologized anyways and gave me a cup to treat myself a drink while I wait. Their customer service wasn't just wonderful. It was above and beyond! Midvale is and will always be my favorite go to.
This new store in Murray is... Wow. So bad. I wish I could say they have zero customer service skills. Sadly, it is far below zero. Not a single smile. Not a single friendliness atmosphere. Very dirty store. The place was absolutely disgusting. While waiting for food (they were 10 minutes late on my order) I stood next to the pickup shelf. I couldn't stop staring at all the food and trashes on the floor in the drive through area between the kitchen door. There was a massive gunk (meat maybe?) on the floor and bunch of foods all over. The guy eventually swept, finally but not that big gunk of meat. It was so gross. The place isn't clean at all. They overdid the advertisement with their bottles (literally blocking the entire window at the serving counter). I guess with the hot meat and such... The bottles are greasy.
They were very late on my order when there wasn't a single customer in line. It was slow but they had grill FULL of different meats cooking together. FULL. It was overflowing. It was dead inside so why are they cooking all of that excessive amount of meats? 4 employees cooking all that meats and 1 guy just standing at the serving counter... My order was likely so late because they were focusing on cooking the entire collection of meats they have on an overflowed grill.
At the end... The guy had my bag ready! He walked to me. I was excited because I was ready to go home! He handed over to me and I was just 2 inches from grabbing the bag. Then he immediately turned and placed it on the shelf. What the hell? That made the whole interaction super awkward and weird. I saw my name on the bag and grabbed the bag to leave... What the hell was that?
I hope this helps you understand why I said below ZERO when it comes to customer services. This was awful and quite rude especially being late with my order because you overdid with cooking meats. I've never see other Mo Bettah's location overflow their their entire grill with chicken/steak/etc. When I do... they're packed and busy. But this store was just dead.
Anyways... When I got home. obviously I already mentioned the greasy bottle. My bottle was greasy so thanks for that... Maybe find a different place for it away from the food so it doesn't get greasy.
My order has two plates (for same day and next day). Both of them was has wrong rice. Meats were right but I got white rice when I asked for brown rice.
They were super late and couldn't get the rice right.
But overall... I'm NOT coming back to this store because this is a very disgusting store. I STILL can't get that picture out of my head from that massive nasty raw meat gunk...
Read moreI originally gave this restaurant a five star review after my first visit. In fact, the first few times were fantastic. After that, not so much. I went for dinner a few days ago and the guy made the portions on vegetables so small that I almost did not go back. I ordered a regular meal with one side of rice and two vegetables. When he put the first portion of vegetables in the plate, I said, "Really? Is that it?" He replied, It's one cup. Then he scooped out another serving with the ladle and vigorously shook it. Very vigorous! I couldn't believe it. Every other time the portions were large. This time - small.
Next time I went for lunch and it was fantastic. So, I decided to avoid dinner time.
A day afterwards, I went for lunch, waited 30 minutes and they were out of teriyaki Chicken and vegetables. I left because it was my lunch break and out of time.
I really wanted teriyaki chicken & vegetables. So, I went back the same day before the dinner hour. They were out of vegetables again! The same guy that shook the vegetables vigorously before put together my meal and he appeared to be the manager. He spent between about two full minutes picking out the last piece of chicken. He wanted it to be small enough to meet their requirement. But not go over. In my mind, I just thought, "Really!"
I left a review on the app and they gave me a coupon for a free mini. But honestly, I don't know when I will go back. Definitely not for dinner! I drove out of my way for this restaurant. Their quality is inconsistent. That is the reason for...

The first time they gave me a much smaller portion then what I ordered and they had me wait so long for the chicken to cook, the rest of my food was cold. The 2nd time I ordered Teriyaki chicken and steak. They said they were out of steak so I tried ordering 2 other types of chicken and they tell me all they have is Teriyaki available. I take it home and open it up to see that it was just plain chicken with no sauce. Ruined my whole meal. How do you cook and sell Teriyaki chicken without even putting Teriyaki sauce on it or at least give me some on the side to do it myself. I called right away to tell them and the kid replied, well you didn't ask for Teriyaki sauce. Really? They didn't offer me anything to make it up. That is the last time I will ever be spending my money there. Also, I caught one kid wiping his nose with his bare hand and serving food right away without washing his hands.
