We had just finished a long day of Sunday errands and grocery shopping and were driving trying to make it to Papa Murphy’s by 7:00pm before they closed and tried calling them at 6:54pm to put in a pickup order but they weren’t answering their phone so we drove their and hurried inside at 6:59pm and they had already put all of the ingredients away and explained to us they usually don’t answer their phones 10 minutes before closing because they are putting all of the ingredients away, but the nice young cashier Alex was very nice and said she would let us order our pizza still which I believe is superb service and definitely going above and beyond for a customer. And she even took a man’s order after us who walked in after us right at 7:00pm and said he would be their last customer. Let me just tell you, I understand that maybe food service works differently than a call center job (at my call center job, we take calls up until the closing time on the dot) and in food they would have to start cleaning up earlier than their closing time, but despite that, the fact that Alex still was willing to serve us customers even after they were technically cleaned up and “closed” speaks loudly about her and her customer service skills and she deserves a raise for being kind and helpful and being a great face and front line for Papa Murphy’s. Thank you to Alex for making our pizza!...
Read moreIt's fresh (because you bake it yourself at home), and the sauce was decent, but the crust was flavorless and somehow became chewy even though I baked the pizza directly on the oven rack, and we got the thin-crust NY pie (that was NOTHING like any pizza I had in Manhattan and I live in Boston but am from New York). The cheese wasn't great either - very bland and on the heavy side considering the amount of sauce and that it was on a thin crust. Overall, I find it rather sad that the best part of this pizza, the thing that tasted best, that I enjoyed the most, was the SAUCE. I have enjoyed frozen pizzas from the grocery store more than I enjoyed this pizza, and I would say that almost every take-away or delivery pizza I have purchased from a standard restaurant (that pre-cooks it) has been better than this was. I wouldn't go back. Decided to edit this to say that 2s is not for the staff at all, just the pizza. The staff were friendly, polite, efficient, and quick to help us. They would...
Read moreSecond time at this location, and im going back to my old location! Staff dont know what they are doing, both times i have gotten home and the pizzas are open on one end, my sausage almost hit the floor! The "manager" has no clue! I watched him make my sausage pizza and with the same gloves... Make a gluten free pinapple only pizza, not mine another customer. There were the 2 of us back to back he ordered 4 and i ordered 2, you would have thought they got a rush because 3 more employees show up from the back, and it was still sloppy service! Still waited over 10 min... Its really dissapointing to me that it wont let me share a pic because my sausage was only half sauced! I get the fact that its a 5 dollar pizza but really no sauce... I would have paid another dollar for the rest of the sauce. Any way, if you can, just avoid this place and visit...
