Me, my husband, and our 2 year old came here last night. We waited the standard 15 minutes to be seated and when we finally got to sit down, my husbands seat was covered in campfire sauce and he didn’t see it until he had already sat in it. We told our waiter what happened and asked for napkins. He came back with one of their dish towels, and my husband cleaned up his jeans and sat on the towel so he didn’t sit in more sauce. I was very upset that whoever cleaned the tables didn’t also think to clean up the sauce on the chair. But then the manager came out and apologized to us personally and said he was going to take care of our bill tonight, I was so amazed that this restaurant actually cared about their customers (because most places never seem to care if their customers are unsatisfied). I thanked him and told him that’s so nice of him, but that he didn’t need to do that! He told us he would at least buy our dessert for us!
So our waiter came back around and took our order, I ordered the Peppercorn burger (if you knew me, you’d know I HATE hamburgers. But right when we had walked into the front doors of Red Robin and I smelled burgers, I decided I had to order one.) My husband ordered a burger and I ordered my son chicken strips off of the kids menu. When our food came out it was just mine and my husbands, and my burger wasn’t the right one. I felt bad for already complaining about the sauce on the chair situation, so I wasn’t going to say anything, but I saw there was ketchup on the bun (I HATE ketchup!) so when our waiter returned to ask how everything was, I told him our sons food hasn’t came out yet, and that I think I didn’t get the right burger. He told me it was the correct one, the Peppercorn. I didn’t want to argue because he was a very nice guy, so I just said thank you. He went and got our sons chicken strip dinner and they put an extra strip on the plate for the inconvenience. But back to my burger, I ended up getting the smoke and pepper burger NOT the peppercorn. I had even looked up the menu on my phone again to make sure I was right, which I was. Again, I didn’t want to complain, so I just covered my burger in ranch to mask the ketchup taste, and I started eating it anyways. It wasn’t horrible, it just wasn’t what I ordered. When the waiter came back to take our dessert order, we got the mud pie, he came out with it and told us it was his first one he’s ever made, it was DELICIOUS!! Although a few things had gone wrong I think the manager AND the waiter were both AMAZING and we will definitely be coming back to this location more often! They all went above and beyond for us when it wasn’t necessary! The only reason I gave 3 and not 5 stars were for the few small inconveniences. But the staff and the mud pie...
Read moreI went to this Red Robin and the service that I recieved was very poor. The host immediately sat me down when I walked in, but I had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes and no one came to take my order. So I finally walked up to the host asked him what was going on, then the host became the server. That pissed me off because that is not his responsibility for his job. He took my order, and brought the drinks and appetizer. Then finally a girl named Jewell, who was supposed to be my server, came up with my hamburger. The order with the host was correct, but when my hamburger came out, it was incorrect. Then when she came up to my table, she didn’t even apologize, she was asking whose food was what, and for me if she did her job she should have known but she didn’t do her job. I finally had enough and asked her if she was going to apologize to me, and she said sorry but she did not mean it. Also she had a really bad attitude, and gave me a dirty look. jewel also did not come up to the table asking if everything was ok, or if I needed anything. The host did many times but once again that is not his responsibility. I finally got fed up with the server so I asked the host if he could be our server, just so I could get someone else that actually cared about their job. The server came up, and said that she was sorry about her attitude and whatever but she still did a poor job. I feel like I should have recieved a discount or something for free but I never was given that option. Also I was not able to talk to a manager while I was there but I called as soon as I got out and told them about the situation. Finally, I gave the host, that did more then what he should have, which I appreciate, I gave him a good tip, and for the server I gave her a dirty penny, just 1 cent, because it reminded me of her service she gave which was poor and disgusting. Dont know if I will go back, but if I do I don’t want to deal...
Read moreWent here for my husbands birthday, i have celiacs, so basically a gluten allergy and the reviews I saw were pretty decent so i thought I would be ok. Upon arrival I asked our server about their fries if they had a dedicated fryer he told me yes and told me he would make sure to remind the cooks to change gloves and be extra careful as well since it was an allergy. I was overjoyed, ordered my burger with a gf bun. Our server brought out 4 baskets of fries said our food will be out shortly. Great, I'm starving and haven't had decent fries in forever. I'm not gonna lie, I ate a basket to myself, there was 5 of us total -- me being the only celiac. Our food comes out and everyone's had more fries but mine and our server was like there's still a few minutes on your allergy fries. I was like what do you mean allergy fries? He said all the fries he's brought out have been cooked in the mixed fryer. I asked him again you said you had a dedicated fryer. He's like we do but we also have a regular fryer and that's what all the fries have been, not once during my questioning in the beginning did he say they had multiple fryers for fries, only they had a dedicated fryer for fries.I was like I just ate these because you said the fries had a dedicated fryer NOT 2 separate fryers! What am I supposed to do now, I should have known it was too good to be true. His response was do you want 2 orders of the allergy fries? No I only wanted the gluten free fries from the gluten free fryer. Now my stomach is going to hate me, yay for tonight and the internal damage caused. That being said the food was amazing, just be careful which fries you eat if you...
