Denny's — Restaurant in Murrieta

I finished volunteer work late so came in on Monday around 1120pm to get a bite and some coffee before my hour plus long drive home. Super friendly staff but this was just not their night. They asked me about seating and directed me to a booth and then forgot about me until I went to the counter about 12 min later. Then they still took almost five more minutes to take my drink and order. Once my order (water, coffee & pumpkin pancakes - they were out of oreo shakes)was taken, it took about 8 min to get my water and coffee. They forgot to bring me the creamer I asked for and also didn't leave me with any silverware to stir the coffee or napkins. A different person came about 6 min later with some half and half so I asked them for the silverware. After then, it still took another fifteen min to get my order which was buttermilk pancakes. But I ordered pumpkin pancakes. Go figure. I let them know right away. Seven min later I got the correct pumpkin pancakes. Never did get all the creamer I asked for but they did come check on me later so I just settled with what I had. The pumpkin pancakes weren't even that good. Go figure again. I won't be ordering those from Dennys again. The buttermilk are far much better. When I got my check, I was already here for almost 1.5 hours, just for coffee and pancakes. Wow... They said they are charging me only for the buttermilk pancakes and coffee, since the back messed up the order, so they took $2.79 off my tab for the boatload of service flaws. Remember what I mentioned in the beginning? The staff was super friendly so I didn't say anything. I did her another lady complaining as well. The main problem is there is only ONE wait staff and one manager, who was the other person checking on me. Dennys needs to keep at least two wait staff on site so that one downcast get overwhelmed which is what I believe happened tonight. I'm leaning here almost 1am for such a small order. Not...

The food was delicious I built my own omelette. Had the pico de gallo with cheddar cheese and chorizo sausage and avocado. Wow delicious! They seated us right away and helped that it wasnt busy when we went. The waitress that attended us was so nice! I think her name was Valeria if I'm not mistaken. Oh the coffee was on point too! Anyway she made us feel welcome and was very helpful. She was sweet and we got coffee to go when we asked for to go boxes for out food. We had so much I couldn't finish it. Trust me though I did finish it when I got home later. Anyway will be going here again. It was a clean place as well and they had the covid regulations but of course you could take your mask off at your table. Still great place to go. Much better and more welcoming place than the one on Rancho California and Jefferson. They seated us right away and never have any problems here. I have good vibes here. Everyone here is friendly and makes sure everything is ok. The young lady who was our waitress today was super kind. And the last time we came they had 50s music playing just like an old school diner today more modern music. My kids love to come to this denny's. They were a little busy but oh so very nice! Nothing I asked was a prob unlike the one on Benton that always is a let down one way or another like when I was making an order for my mother and I with them giggling on the phone literally thinking I was high so I addressed that which obviously got a big laugh because I haven't done anything like that for about 30 years now but that's just rude or them shutting their phone down early and I got there before clothes to have them make a milkshake video trying to order food that's why I ended up with the other location and the manager telling me oh bummer about that I don't think those were his exact words but he was just like basically oh well then didn't phase him and all the phones were shut down early but he was the one that did it I don't know that I just assumed but I went to the one on Murrieta hot springs and they made up to the let down a little slow only because they had so many customers in there and very I think they had two waitresses at the time and they're open...
