A colorful, delightfully addictive arcade and Asian novelty shop has arrived in Murrieta!
Kawaii House is a small business owned by both husband and wife and open everyday of the week. Both owners are incredibly warm, welcoming and very helpful towards everyone. Me and my partner chatted with them a bunch during our visit and it made the experience much more special for us.
The shop features many different sections to accommodate different interests want wants.
At the front of the store, multiple gacha pons, pastel-colored claw machines, and even Pokemon card dispensers cover the floor. All of these machines operate by inserting special tokens provided at the checkout stand that you can purchase at varying amounts and prices. Certain token packages come with one play (or more!) at a mini claw machine game where you can win extra tokens or, in our case, a special gift! The special gift is a surprise so I won't be telling what it is here. Just know that it is very much worth it!
Towards the back of the store is the shop area where you can purchase little notepads, pens and pencils, writing/drawing tablets, blind box collectibles, figurines, puzzles, toys, and stuffed characters from Sanrio, Kirby, Summiko Gurashi and more. There's even a rack of anime keychains and a wall of enamel pins. All of these are priced fairly and are neatly organized.
There is also a snack shop area where you can grab some Asian candies, biscuits, and other goodies. A table and ramen area is available as well. Simply choose and purchase which ramen you'd like and use the hot water dispensers to cook up your ramen as you sit down and relax while also looking through your winnings from the game area. Teas and cups are also available for those who want a soothing drink.
The final point of interest is the photo booth located in the back left corner of the store. The fees are relatively cheap to use and print pictures from here. You're free to close the provided photo booth curtain for more privacy as you pick out a variety of hats, sunglasses, and signs to add some variety to your photos.
Overall, the general atmosphere of the shop is lively, fun, but not too overwhelming and sensory overloading like places such as Round 1. Both engaging yet relaxing, Kawaii House has become one of our favorite places in Murrieta from day one. We look forward to our next...

Local small business owned by husband and wife who are super sweet, helpful, and very nice! Husband is funny also, he told us we were welcomed to finish watching the episode of Pokémon 🤣😊 if we did that we would’ve never left lol.

It does get crowded easily and can be hard to move around especially if people don’t move, but overall it was a pleasant experience and we can’t wait...

Sometimes you feel like you lose. But you have to keep trying on that same one and you will win some. The owners encourage you to keep trying the same one you were trying to get. And if they see you tried and didnt win they make sure you walk out with something.
From all the visits we managed to fill up a trash bag. I have never heard of anything like that from a claw machine place. I've tried different ones and driven 2 hrs to check one out and with all of them walked out empty handed.
The place and the aesthetics is truly KAWAII!
Will definitely keep going there!! The family that owns the place is very welcoming and engaging. I truly wish them the best. We needed something like this here in murrieta so the kids can...
