PSA FOR EVERYONE. I CHECKED FROM TWO DIFFERENT COMPUTERS AND 3 PHONES TO MAKE SURE WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY IS TRUE.
The owner of this establishment deleted the old business page and started a new one so he could hide all of his negative comments. Which included but wasnāt limited to things like stealing some poor girls nudes plenty of unfixed consoles outragous prices and unfixed computers. With snobby replyās from the owner trying to justify any and all of his actions. Infact the only positive comments were from people who didnāt realize how easy it is to change a phone screen.if you can snap a LEGO and if you can turn a screwdriver I promise you that you can change a phone screen.
WITH THAT BEING SAID. Here is my original comment that I posted a month ago that is no where to be found on google reviews.
āI would never recommend this place to anyone. It's been awhile since I received service from them I had to cool out because of would have said some things I would regret later but now I'm ready to write my review
After calling around I found 99 pc repair does ps4 hdmi replacement. This was great I couldn't wait to start playing ps4 again. I bring the system In and I'm over joyed cause they also tell me repair is under warranty and if ANYTHING goes wrong they will fix it for free.
A few days later I get a call that I can go pick it back up the repair is done. Yea boy! Game time! I go to pick it up and take it home I plug it in download Fortnite a few apps and god of war. Then bam things go downhill the solder came loose and the hdmi socket disconnected no worries though right? Cause of that warranty. I call them up the next day. "Hey guys remember me visual went out again" yea they remember bring it back no worries you have a warranty
I bring the console back same process wait a day pick it up take it home plug it in...visual still isn't there but audio is which is an improvement to nothing at all but still, close but no cigar I call them up
"Are you serious! That sucks! But I GUESS you can bring it back in. You know sine we gave you a warranty"
Same process again! 1 day bring it back take it home plug it in Hazaaaaaa it works!!...... for ten minutes.
Lose everything again no audio no visual. You could tell they rushed through it this time pin aren't making contact it super loose and wigly .Now I'm scared to bother these guys again. But you know they sold me on that warranty and said they'd honor it.
Turns out my fear in calling was justified cause the response I got after was
"No we aren't doing it anymore.WE DONT FEEL LIKE IT We don't care if you have a warranty".
Wow. Just writing this is making me angry again This is the most shady unprofessional business I've ever come across
Do not take your computer into this place cause they might not "feel" like fixing it.
AS LONG AS THIS BUSINESS REMAINS OPEN AND HAS A GOOGLE REVIEWS I WILL POST THIS. YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST HONORED THE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am compelled to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received at this establishment, which I now regard as engaging in outright deceptive business practices. As a Senior Tech Manager for a large tech company, I possess extensive experience in resolving complex computer issues, far beyond what this repair shop seems capable of handling. I decided to entrust them with my device out of convenience.
I brought my Surface Pro 7+ in for a screen replacement, having been initially quoted $180 over the phoneāa price that was reconfirmed upon my arrival when I clearly stated the model of my device. Not only did I specify the model twice very clearly, but the difference between the model they claimed to quote and my actual device is also easily discernible with a simple examination of the back of the device. This oversight and their inability to recognize the device correctly greatly call into question their technical abilities. However, mere hours after dropping off my device, I received a message stating that the price would be unexpectedly raised to $239.99. The justification provided was that they had mistakenly quoted for a Surface Pro 7 instead of a Surface Pro 7+, a mix-up that is highly implausible given the clarity of my communications about the model both during the initial call and at drop-off.
Upon deciding to retract my service request and asking for a refund, the response I received was astonishing. I was informed that only a 50% refund would be possible because the screen had already been removed, and they insisted that the paperwork erroneously listed it as a Surface Pro 7. This is not merely a minor oversight but a significant blunder on their part, reflecting either a severe deficiency in basic technical knowledge or a deliberate intent to deceive customers.
The extra money is not a significant issue to me; what is deeply troubling is the scamming of customers and the blatant dishonesty. This incident has caused considerable frustration and has significantly eroded my trust in the integrity of this business. It is wholly unacceptable to alter quoted prices post-agreement, and the unprofessional handling of this matter has been disgraceful. For further proof of their deceitful practices, I will be attaching a photo of the text message they sent me, clearly showing the unjustified price change.
It is now my mission to ensure that everyone is aware of their dishonest and unprofessional business practices. I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of this service provider. I had the capability to fix the device myself but opted for what I thought would be a convenienceāthis decision is one I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFound it very strange that the guy who repaired my cracked phone screen needed my passcode to "test the front camera and ability to make outgoing calls" when I came to pick it up. He was the only worker there at the time and had it in the backroom for a good 5-10 minutes, even though there were no other customers there at the time, and it was the opposite of a busy day. When he finally came out with my phone, I checked it, and he hadn't even made any outgoing calls (the very thing he said he was checking)! Bottom line is, I strongly suspect he downloaded my pictures. Doesn't take 10 minutes to check a camera and the call function (in the backroom, for that matter). On top of it all, even though he fixed my phone screen, my phone developed new glitches it hadn't had before. My advice is, if you're a young girl like me, don't be naive. Stealing nudes, photos, etc. is a common problem women face when getting their phone repaired. Look up all the cases if you don't believe me. If you're reading this, you know who you are. Too bad the majority of my camera roll is memes. Hope you had fun jacking off to...
