Really an atrocious experience at the Applebees pickup last night. I arrived at 5:58pm to pick up my 6:00 order at curbside. I attempted to check in using the text that was sent to me, but the website said that my order could not be found. So, I waited 5 minutes and went into the bar at 6:05pm to check on the order since the website was broken. The bartender went to check and said my order was being packed. at 6:20, the bartender again went to check and said my order was still being packed. Then, at 6:30, some employee finally came to me and asked if I was waiting on a pickup order and brought me my order. The food was totally cold! So it's very likely that my order was actually sitting since 6:00. I understand that my order was marked for curbside, but I had made it a point to check in with the bartender and explain that the website was not working to check in. She said she communicated with the to-go people, so there was some major incompetence happening somewhere. To make matters worse, when I got back to my car (parked in the curbside spot, because I had a curbside order), there was a note written on blank receipt paper saying "Thank you for parking in the wrong parking spot :)". Now, I have no proof that this was written by a curbside runner, but given that it was on blank receipt paper, I have my suspicions. That is completely unacceptable to leave on a customer's window, ESPECIALLY after I very clearly communicated with the staff that I was waiting for my curbside order inside because the app wasn't working. I should have been in and out in less than 5 minutes. Oh, and they forgot my mashed potatoes with my burger.

This place is a hit or miss location. I’ve been there about 10 times, and I either find myself incredibly impressed. Or completely dissatisfied. Good experiences (7/10 time); Great with kids, service was quick and friendly. Food was spot on. But the last 2 times I found myself very disappointed. I went last night, and everything was great until dinner was served. I had order a Caesar salad (and specified I wanted it before dinner). My kids got their meals and I sat there a full 10 minutes afterwards, with nothing in front of me. Then my burger came (half cooked). The server came by and I mentioned I never received my salad. I asked her to make it a to go order instead, since I already had my meal. She seemed very frustrated with me. From that point on she intentionally ignored my table. My kid’s drinks never got refilled, and we just sat there after eating. She attended to all the other tables, but completely walked by ours. I eventually had to call out to her (as she was walking away), to ask for my check. She brought the check, and still no salad. I pointed out the salad was on the ticket, and I never received it. She huffed and walked off with my payment. 5 minutes later a different server came with my salad (finally), and my card. I don’t remember the last time I have been this disappointed in the service I received from a restaurant. And I’m not one to complain.

Applebee's Impossible Burger definitely a no-frills, but satisfying burger experience if you choose to accept. The plant-based burger reminded me alot in appearance and almost taste as the single cheesebuger option on the budget menu at Wendy's. While nothing fancy, like the Wendy's option compares in simplicity and reliability only in vegan form, but at 6X's the price ($12.79) plus tip. Overall, if you're in the mood for a quick, straightforward vegan option the Impossible Burger will satisfy your burger cravings.

Both my partner and I come here very often and normally have a pleasant experience. We have both worked as servers and this was hands down unfortunately the worst experience we've ever had.

My minor complaints, the place wasnt very busy but we had a 15 minute wait. Then service was very slow, again when the place was pretty dead. My partner ordered the all you can eat chicken, shrimp, and riblets with fries. 10/10 dont recommend. The chicken tenders are tiny. The first serving is decent but then the next few servings are a joke.

Unfortunately our server Lilly didn't provide us with the best service, and I believe she hasn't been trained well enough to be serving on her own. From the get go, she wasnt very present and was extremely all over the place. She didn't have a pad or pen and couldn't seem to remember what we were ordering. She had barely any knowledge of the menu and was saying things very strangely. After the initial order she was gone for quite a while. We never got silverware or napkins. Multiple others were assisting in the meantime. Everytime my partner would order another serving she would stand there and laugh, and she would skip the next serving of fries. I ordered the Loaded Brew Pub Fries, which I've gotten many times before, and she kept saying the Loaded Brew Hub Fries. When I got them, there was green peppers/jalapeños, tomatoes, and onions all over them. I dont like any of that and was 99% sure they had never been there before. But I hate to complain so I painfully picked them all out. I thought the whole thing tasted off. My partner ordered a serving of tenders and she didn't ask if he wanted any sauce when it was supposed to come with two, then he asked her for honey bbq. Another server brought the tenders with buffalo and continued to say that our server messes up orders all the time because she's new and she wont write anything down. The second set of tenders he got were brought out by yet another server, the 4th outside of our server, as she showed up at the same time he goes to me oh you're the one who got queso on your pub fries, thats different, but idk about the jalapeños. I never ordered anything with queso, as I dont like applebees queso or anything in it. I ordered loaded pub fries because thats what i wanted. The last waters we were brought both had leafy green stuff in the glasses. At the end, she brought us a table kiosk thing to pay our bill. It never Loaded so she asked if she could ring us out at the computer behind us because she rang us out at the wrong table, and hadn't given us a check yet. We chose to pay in cash. I hope she is given the proper training and guidance. Writing down orders is standard and should be done. She should have...

Horrible: the following is my email to the district manager listed on my receipt. It was returned as incorrect email: Hi, I had a sadly poor experience at your location 4920 William penn highway, Murrysville pa. On 3/8/19. My girlfriend and I stopped around 9:30. Stood at doorway for around 8 minutes before being greeted. The greeter was standing with the manager at the bar just looking at us. We asked the greeter how long they were open and met with a response twice “ to late.” She asked if we would be ok with high top seating. We said yes then were directed to a short booth that still has not been cleaned off. The booth behind us had also not been cleaned off. We asked if they could wipe off the table. After a sucking of teeth sound the waitress said she would be right back. A new waitress named Megan arrived and wiped off the table. For the entire 1 hr we were in the restaurant the manager never left her seat at the bar where she had her leg propped up on the seat next to her, conversing with our new waitress about drinking. The first waitress that seated us at one point approached the bartender held up a glass and asked if the bartender drank her beer. I am quite sure from the conversation she did mean ownership of the beer was hers and not a patrons. 2 high top tables On the opposite side of the bar never were checked on by their waiter/waitress. The man sitting at one approached the bar tender 30 minutes into our dinning and asked to have the correct beer he had previously ordered provided to him along with the other drinks at the table including a wine and I believe another beer. Food portion, prep, presentation was all good. Compliments to the cooks. Front staff lacked customer service, and the facility was not clean. As preciously mentioned the booth behind us that was dirty was not cleaned off until we paid our bill, approximately 1 hr after arriving.

I do not believe I will be returning.

I overheard the hostess telling the server she got a table on my way to the washroom, and she said something like thanks, but no thanks. I thought it was super funny because I'm super chill, even with a grumpy husband and missing my flight, I was still in a super good mood. Regardless of my mood, it wouldn't be proper to take it out on another person. Our server had an absolute lovely persona, very kind, and great service. We didn't have to ask for much except to bring coffee on her next trip around, but not to hurry, and napkins because, let's face it, we can all be messy. My partner was a server until the day she passed away, and I was a bartender for so many years. I know people can be rude and unruly, so I wanted to leave her with a positive experience, especially since it was later in the evening. As per my usual, I neatly stacked the dishes and tidied the table as best as I could to make her job easier. The look on her face was priceless and worth the little bit of effort it takes to tidy up after ourselves and the best ending to a great meal. I hope the next time I go back, I can receive the same experience and wow the server again, and I'll never eat out if I can't provide at least a 30% tip, and I hope others can follow suit by treating the staff with the same respect you would want for yourself. I'm still in a great mood thinking of this experience, and implore, you all to try it, and see how much you feel better from being nice and making someone else's evening, as special as she can make yours! Great job all around, and a shout out to the kitchen staff for perfecting my meal so every bite was even better than the one before! There are still good people in the world, and we had one of the best...
