I was working late and needed fast food, and this BK was the only option nearby. I don’t mind BK, so I pulled into the parking lot and headed for the drive-thru. Glancing around, the place was dead; I was the only customer.
As I pulled around to the drive-thru, I noticed 2 employees sitting on the curb smoking. When the female employee saw me, she quickly stood up and started walking toward the entrance. I figured that they must be the only employees on duty; I don’t blame them for taking a smoke break during a late-night lull.
When I got to the window, the woman taking my order had a difficult time hearing me unless I spoke loudly. Not sure if it was the equipment, her hearing, or perhaps I was mumbling. She also seemed a bit curt, like she hated her life working there. Can’t blame her for that either.
When I pulled up to the window to pay, she told me my total and took my card, and I could smell the cigarette smoke on her. Weirdly, from then on she didn’t say a single word to me; at least, I didn’t hear her say anything. She just handed me the food/drink, I said “thank you” with each item, then she just closed the window and walked away. The whole experience was just...weird.
Then I got home and bit into my chicken sandwich, and THAT is the reason for the 2-star review. The difference between the photos on the menu and the food I received is just ABSURD. The sandwich appeared to have no toppings at first; just a crunchy slab of chicken, made largely of “breading”, between flat, lifeless buns. It was SO dry, and literal cardboard was the most prominent flavor. Only after taking the top bun off did I see a single, very thin slice of tomato, and maybe ½ teaspoon of mayo, only in the center. I ordered the “deluxe” chicken sandwich, so this was pathetic. I struggled to choke it down like I was eating a stack of saltine crackers. The iced tea didn’t help; it tasted diluted, like someone loaded it with ice, let the ice melt, then loaded it with ice again. The fries that were hot were OK, but probably half were lukewarm and quickly turned cold and chalky.
Maybe I got unlucky, but the food just sucked. Perhaps one of the worst BK locations I’ve experienced. At least the service was...
Read moreI went through the drive-thru at 5:27pm on 3-38-2025. When I got home I discoverd that the fries I paid for were not in the bag. I called back and told the woman who answered that I didn't get my fries. She said she would have to review the film footage. What kind of a comment is that to make to a customer? I said, go right ahead. Then she said what time I was there. I said, 20 minutes ago. She said, I put the fries in the bag. I again said, I did not get the fries. She said, I put the fries in the bag and under her breath but (intentionally loud enough for me to hear) she said, maybe someone in the car took the fries. I said, no one in the car took the fries. She was confrontational, evil and incredibly rude. Is this how BK deals with customers? So she claims that she knows she put the fries in the bag. How can she make that claim? Or is BK's business so bad that I am the only one who ordered fries during the time frame in which my order was shorted? If BK is only selling one order of fries every 30 minutes, how do you stay in business? I can understand if people don't want to frequent this particular BK because this employee is over the top. She was confrontational during the order process. She was quite nasty and condesending about correcting me when I ordered Jalapeño Poppers. She indignantly told me they were Jalapeño Cheddar Bites. She wanted to argue. She wanted drama. What a petty, ignorant person. I will never go back to this Burger King. Check the film Burger King. You need to get rid of this person. I am sure I am not the only person she chased away. Burger King you already know who this person is. You should have fired her a long time ago. Or put her somewhere that doesn't involve customer service. She is giving...
