Stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town after hearing it was a great breakfast spot from some locals . Have to say it they were on point . The atmosphere is typical diner which we love . Simple menu with breakfast and lunch items that are all reasonably priced . Our server was great and the food came out quickly despite the place being packed . My wife ordered her eggs over medium which most places cannot get right , Carmen's kitchen cooked them to perfection ! Son ordered the French toast and it was probably in the top 5 best French toast I have ever tasted . The bread was not flat and soggy like most french toast but fluffy and full of flavor. It didn't even need the syrup ! Would definitely stop back by if we are ever in the area again .

Credit where it is due! The portions are great - easily will fill the most demanding & hungry stomach for under 10$. However, if you see going to a restaurant as an experience and not only a fuel for your body, you may be disappointed. The omelette was under seasoned, lacking fluffiness of a proper dish. Sorta slapped together with bunch of ingredients. The water isn't filtered but straight from the tap carrying a strong taste of chlorine. No WiFi, regardless of having the wireless network ( 'we don't give it to customers anymore' ). The staff was great, but had zero interest in masks or basic PPE. Overall, it is a bag of mixed emotions but next time I may skip it and head somewhere else.

first and last time customer. The lady at the door taking names was very nice and made sure every patron wore a mask, due to the covid pandemic. The place was crowded and the service was good. My problem was once in the restaurant the mask wearing almost ceased to exist. All of the cooks has masks, but not one of them wore it properly. One had it only over his mouth, the other two had it down over their neck. Several of the wait staff had theirs on about half the time. As i was leaving I mentioned this to the manager and he had no comment, just looked down at the register. Please be cautious of this place...sooner or later someone will spread this virus to the customers.

I used to go eat here every Saturday morning with my children the food is great and the staff are friendly but I called and was told I had to come in and place a take out order after arriving u waited 30 minutes for my food drive home and my order was all wrong I drove 15 minutes back and Carmen the owner snatched the bag out my hand told her husband to give my money back and told her staff not to make my order right I sat there for another 15 minutes waiting for her to explain what i did wrong and why i couldn't be served at that point i noticed the staff behaved as if they were afraid to even talk to me I will never patronize this place again after all the money and tips I've given this place I was actually taken aback by the owners cruel rudeness and the fact that after almost 2 hours wastedgas I still didn't receive any food Carmen rundthat place with...

I'm picky so I don't give away 5 Stars to places for just being good, they need to stand out above the crowd.

Carmen's, has good menu variety (I love their omletts), they are quick, kind, and the atmosphere is quirky and fun.

Menu: They offer churrizzo patties, real maple syrup, specialty omlets Belgian waffles, and source ingredients locally from Hodgepodg and The Meat Block.

TEAMWORK their team works together exceptionally well, they don't miss a beat. Everyone greets you like their own customer even if they are just helping or seating. Pleasant experience from beginning to end.

Carmen's is very popular for business meet-ups and a lot of movers and shakers in the community come in and out. If you are involved in business or community downtown you will run into people you know regularly.

Keep going and everyone will...

The atmosphere was lively, busy and chatty. We arrived at 1115, the dining room was pretty much full, our party of four got lucky and we were seated immediately. The decor was colorful, bright and nostalgic, I don't think the pictures on the website did this place justice. The menu had a nice variety of items and the prices were resonable. We were catching an early lunch, it's too bad because all the breakfast plates that flew by us looked awesome. I chose a classic burger, no cheese and a few of the fix'ins. It did take a while to be served but the wait was worth it. The burger was excellent. The bun was warm, lightly toasted and the flavor melded beautifully with the patty. The service was friendly, efficient and I would definitely recommend Carmen's for...
