Panda Express — Restaurant in Muskogee

This is usually mine and my husbands “go to” place. It’s close to the movies and we also go there because we like the food. On May 15, 2018 we went to the movies but didn’t have time to eat before the movie so we thought we would go right after. We walk in to the store at 9:00. They close at 10:00. We approach the line and half of the line is empty, clean and dark. The other half had very little food in each container. My husband said “they are closed, let’s just go aomewhere else”. I agreed. Not one of the employees greeted us like they usually do, nor did they try to stop us from leaving or say goodbye to us. We got in our truck and I looked in there to see 3 of the girls laughing and looking at us as if they were happy that we left. Unfortunately the company itself doesn’t care either because I emailed them that night and have yet to receive a call, an email, a letter or anything. This is unfortunate because Muskogee doesn’t have much to choose from for dining as it is and we were excited to get a Panda Express. We will not be back and I will share my experience with as many people as possible....

Can in today and ordered my entree. Go to pay and ask for a large water. The cashier asked me if a large cup is ok. I say yes and proceed to pay. My total was a Little high and when I look at my receipt. She charges me 2.10 for my cup. I tell her all I wanted was a water. She said yes and you asked for a large cup. I simply said no I asked for a large water and you asked if a large cup would work. Who charges 2.10 for water? I asked to be refunded and she calls another lady over and goes on to tell her I asked for a large cup. Once again I had to go on and say No, I just asked for a large water. It pretty understood any where you go water is free!! It’s not that I’m trying to get a free drink I really just wanted a water! Worst experience ever. Save your dollars and do to chows or any where else support our locals. This place is terrible! Bad customer service the lady at he cashiers acted as if I was an inconvenience to her, the lady in front of me who ordered a water too didn’t have the problem I had.........

Having never been to a Panda Express in my life (until today), I dont have any other locations to compare to. I have, however, had lots of Chinese food (buffets and sit-in restaurants alike), so I have good taste for American Chinese in general. The Orange Chicken looked worse than other places, but tasted WAY better. It's the best I've had. Rice is great too. The chow mein I got wasnt my favorite, but adding soy sauce helped make it taste more familiar. I would definently recommend the rice over the chow mien (keep in mind, I usually love noodles). The egg roll was about what you'd expect.

The service was fantastic. Everyone seemed like they were in a good mood, and when I asked the 2 ladies on front counter what they liked the best, they kindly gave me some portions of their favorites.

The building itself was really nice. No complaints here.
