I have pondered whether I wanted to write this review or not, but I think I finally decided to. In November, my husband and I were driving through when I asked him to stop at the Ulta in Muskogee. I was looking for a mascara that was cruelty free, and actually prefer a clean one, but definitely cruelty free. The lady who helped me led me to the Benefit carousel or whatever you want to call it and showed me a product called “Whole Latte Lashes.” I believe she was a representative for them, but I cannot be 100% sure on that, and I asked her if it was animal cruelty, free. She said let me check on that and seemed to pull up something on her phone and told me that it was. I then asked if it was clean and she seemed to muddle or hinting she thought it was clean also. After I paid for this, I went to my car and typed in the question asking if Benefit was cruelty free and the answer I got was different than what I was told in the store by someone who was working there. I then went and stood back in line and returned it, telling the person at the cash register why I was returning the mascara that I just purchased a few minutes ago. That person told me, “Well maybe the representative pulled it up on the app that Ulta had for those kind of products.” My question is this, If that is so, then how can we rely on the app that Ulta has that tells us things are cruelty free or clean if they’re not. I don’t think it was the Ulta app, but I don’t feel like I was properly dealt with as a customer. I’ve pondered over this, and I’ve decided to write about it. Honesty and customer service is very important to me and although I’ve ordered online from Ulta again, It hasn’t left the best taste in my mouth or memory for me...
Read moreI took my daughter to the Ulta Beauty here in Muskogee Oklahoma, she had told me she was available to do a cut and I could come in when I called. Minutes later we arrived and there was a women in her chair, and another child and mother came in after my daughter and I. I let Payten know we had arrived and her response was that there was another child cut and that the front didn't let her know they were there so we would have to continue to wait another hour. Mind you we had already been waiting 20 minutes, and they came in after we did. She said "do you have some were to be" as if my time meant nothing to her. Very rude and inconsiderate! although I did not want it to ruin my daughters hair day I continued to make this day happen for her. We came back and 45 minutes later to get her hair done and this girl charged me $57 dollars. What the HECK! at Max a child hair wash cut and style is $30. and after all the inconsideration as well. BAD BUSINESS! there web site doesn't have prices and they were not upfront about pricing as well. if there were two people that had appointments she should have told me over the phone and we could have scheduled an appointment rather than me just coming...
Read moreMy first time in Ulta, Muskogee was Saturday, May 2nd. I was looking for perfume for my twin sister's birthday gift. The store clerks were rude, no greeting as you walked in. One clerk was engaging in personal conversation with a customer (she obviously knew) as he was on his way out. I waited to see if she were going to assist which she didnt; nor did any others. Today, Monday, May 5th, I gave it another try only because of my sister. I walked in, saw what I needed and Aubre was behind the counter and helped me immediately. I appreciated her kindness & courtesy. I felt she needed to be recognized as her customer service skills encouraged me to possibly re-visit & give Ulta better advertisement. Word of mouth is the best advertisement. Do better with customer service. Thank you...
