KFC — Restaurant in Mustang

We wanted to give KFC a try because Popeyes is slipping. We Went through the drive-thru...seems that's all they can handle because the dining room was closed again. We waited for about 25 minutes for fresh chicken because they didn't have enough for our order, which is fine. I'll always wait for fresh and hot chicken. I ordered the crispy 12-piece meal. the 2 mashed potatoes were 14 Oz each. I don't know if that's the standard size but it didn't go far. The chicken was good but too dark. It seemed like the oil was old or dirty. For $35 I think I can expect better. I've been eating KFC since the 70's ever since Pepsi bought them they have gone downhill. Bland and lower quality. I'd tell them how to fix it but their ego's couldn't handle it. But here's a clue. Put the recipes that started it back the way it was. If you need to raise prices don't make a profit on higher costs. Go off books and instead of raising 4-5x the increase of food cost. Just create a new column for inflation. Then calculate your percentages and it will work. Raising prices so high will lower foot traffic. Lower foot traffic leads to closed doors. I've been going to this location for over 2 1/2 years and today shows me why I hardly see customers there. I ordered a number 7 big box 3 peace chicken meal. I was asked original or crispy? Then what side ? I read that I get 2 sides the person said no you get one. Then she asks someone and she said yes I get 2 sides , I proceed to tell her my sides. Then I explain I want an unsweetened icetea. The person said it doesn't come with a drink. I read the discrimination again from the board that includes a drink, she asks the other person. I'm thinking shes in training. Then out of the black lagoon a really rude person gets on says that I can not have a 4 peace chicken meal and it only comes with one side. She proceeded loud rude tome that I must order a number 7 or something else. I was to caught off guard that I told her, I never asked for 4 peaces of chicken but I had ordered the number 7 and that I would be going to...

I ordered a bucket of chicken. As I was waiting for the chicken I looked back into the kitchen and was horrified. The sight of the old sloppy food and filth around the trays of food was disgusting. It was very apparent that the food area was not cleaned for a very long time. The whole area was extremely unsanitary let alone I noticed the help picking their face and then handling the food. No food gloves...Let me tell you I won't recommend KFC Mustang, OK to anyone. If I had my phone with me, there would be pictures. When I got home the food went into to trash. The health department needs to make some surprise visits. Patron expecting better results... I chose to walk out then to open my mouth and create a big scene on what I observed.
