GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!! I keep telling myself I will quit coming to Hana Sushi, but it’s the only place close by. Trust me when I say, “I’m done.” Another terrible experience yesterday in the books. Let me start by saying that i appreciate the fact that it’s family ran. Although, they can’t keep up with the influx of people. Actually even when there are only a few people it takes at least an hour each time whether you’re the only people there or not. Yesterday, we waited 10 minutes to get drinks. Another 10 minutes to have our orders placed. We ordered appetizers and I thought to myself, tell them to be sure to get the appetizers out before the meal, as this wouldn’t be the first time they didn’t bring out the appetizers. We waited one hour, then they brought out my habachi, but they never bright out my family’s food. I politely waited t until they had their food. I never received the soup or salad that came with the habachi and so I flagged them down to ask about the appetizers and the rest of our food and if those were still being made. They said they were making it. ( we had been there for an hour) So I waited another 20 minutes until my family got their food and my food was cold by then. So I sent mine back to heat it up and told my family to just go ahead and eat without me. They finally brought out the appetizers. Then they brought out my food 15 min later and my food was still cold…. So I just ate about half of the cold food and we asked for my soup and salad to go. It’s always a miserable experience every time. The food is good, but the experience just truly isn’t with it waiting an hour and a half to two hours for cold habachi and sushi and paying $70 for it. Save yourself the headache and so somewhere else unless you want to wait two hours for food and the haste...
Read moreWhere to start, how about the complete lack of service due to it being a 13 year old boy taking our order and at times rolling sushi. Water never filled and no straws, appetizer, no utensils, sushi and no Wasabi or ginger. No social distancing for seating, or wearing masks at the sushi station and kitchen. Cheap seats that arent bolted down and the person behind you keeps bumping you into your plate. The place was absolutley filthy the fishtank there is completely green and you cant see through it! Place was a joke. Now the appetizer, soft shell crab, one piece was good, the other two halves were ROTTEN and super fishy! My luck I ordered the same ingredient for a roll. Had the same issue. I complained and asked the kid to take it to his grandpa or who ever and smell it, because I wouldn't be paying for it. Shocked they would serve that to me to eat! My gf had a simple Philly roll and it tasted sour, like the cream cheese was bad maybe, and the pieces of salmon, half were grey and not pink or red. Horrible quality and sloppy craftsmanship. If I spend a lot going out, I don't want a 13 yearold making me dinner! I went to the bathroom and threw up. I went to get the bill and it was 40 and I said no, you guys need to make it right. I offered to pay for the Philly and the sake and that was it. They started arguing in their language and the kid said 10% off was the best they could do. I tossed them a 20 and walked out. Not paying for what we didn't eat because you served bad food. Then the guy chased outside and dove on to our hood! Slammed his fist and dented our car like a maniac! Completely shocked, I stepped out and told him he was going to pay for that. Now it will cost him more than his outburst was worth. This establishment should be shut down, it's a...
Read moreSo when we first moved out towards civilization from where we were thus was one of the first places we got. She ordered as a surprise so I wasn't sure who it was. Now today I got the opportunity to sit and dine in and boy let me tell you. It was superm I got the roasted mussels and they were bomb dot com. Then I ordered three rolls, the Godzilla roll (pictured by itself) the volcano roll (pictured as the double the one in the front) and finally the captain crunch roll. They were delicious 😋. My son had the kids Yuki soba and this literally the only time he's ever eaten a full plate it was hilarious. Over all the food was good the location is quite and a bit out of the way. But over all I think you'll like it I know I did.
Now comes the really hard part. Over all the food was amazing, the place not as clean as I would have liked but considering we live in a time of rona and it's hard to come by good help I'll let it slide. It's a family run joint. So grandma grandpa work the back, dad works the sushi bar and jr works the tables and the sushi bar if he needs help. Seating was well setting and I found them comfortable. Not really sure what people are complaining about. Didn't see any problems with the distancing I know people tend to ask about that but hey if your THAT worried about it maybe just order your food to go amd eat in the car right? Well anyway that's my take. I really did...
