Angell Bros. Bar + Grill — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

This joint is one of my favorite hidden gems in Horry County. Their food is incredible as can be seen in my pictures. I try to come here once a week and try something new but so far my favorite meal is their Shrimp Po Boy. Their smoked chicken wings are a must try and if you can handle a little heat than the Buffalo Garlic is the way to. You can't go wrong with any menu items though and the service has always been very solid. One time they gave me a dry rub wing plate instead of sauced and when I mentioned it they brought me the sauced wings free of charge and I got to keep the dry rub too. This is a newly remodeled and new ownership bar off of 17 bypass. It has to be the cleanest bar I have ever patronized. They did a really good job renovating the establishment from when it was Murphy’s Law. The food we had was excellent and plentiful. They definitely do not skimp on portions and you will not leave hungry. It’s not your typical bar fare that is served in a basket but rather restaurant quality and very good. They also offer great all day happy hour specials on beer and house liquor drinks! While waiting for our friends to meet us, we ordered drinks and 10 minutes later a large group came in without making a prior reservation. Obviously because the restaurant has only 1 large table, which we happened to be sitting, we were told to move by the manager, instead of the large group putting tables together. Which there was plenty of tables left to do so. Let me add that when we arrived there was only 3 people in the large restaurant. Bad move Ms. Manager!
