I asked the counter girl what the difference in size between small and regular entrees. She did not respond about ounces/size. She merely pointed to the two bowls. It was my first time. I ordered a small Leanguini Fresca with added grilled chicken, about $13.00
I was shocked. There was maybe 1.5 ounces of pasta in the bowl. The bowl was half empty. I talked to the manager from my car, because I felt scammed. The manager had seen my order, and commented to me," Yes, that did not look like 4 ounces. "
I would say to get your protein in a separate container. The chicken portion was tasty.
I was so disappointed. I had been really excited to try a new place, since I usually go next door, where I get a side and 2 entrees in a plate. The Noodles & Company manager made me a new plain bowl. But, even so, my foodie experience was ruined. I should have taken a photo.
I guess they are overpriced for what you are given. Pretty place, though. Not sure if I will ever try their other location, but I am not inclined to visit Loyola Drive...
Read moreThe first of Noodles and Company comes to South Carolina by opening its doors in Myrtle Beach. Being a fan favorite of this chain back in our home state, we decided to stop in for dinner. The idea came to conception in 1995 with simply introducing fast food made fresh. Creative dishes designed with flavors from around the world to down home local fare made with authentic ingredients. From World Flavors to Italian Classics, Asian Bowls to Mac Pacs, Zoodles (zucchini noodles) to Cauliflower Noodles there is a bowl waiting for you. Soups, salads and even some sweet treats. One of my regulars is the Pad Thai, with rice noodle stir-fry with scrambled egg, napa and red cabbage, citrus, peanuts and cilantro. Sweet but with a hint of heat. Most dishes do not come with a source of protein, but one can pay for an add on and the Parmesan-crusted chicken (or grilled chicken) do compliment this dish. Meals were prepared in a timely manner and came piping hot. Quantity got me bringing home leftovers and quality certainly will have me...
Read moreI used the app to order the Buffalo Mac n Cheese for window pickup. The app is simple to navigate and very straight forward. Ordering was simple and painless. My order was ready within minutes so thankfully I was sitting in the parking lot waiting. When I pulled up I was quickly greeted with a smile. I was asked my name and immediately handed my order. I pulled to the back parking lot and parked. I opened my paper bag to find 2 napkins a sturdy plastic fork and my to go container. The presentation was suitable for the dish I ordered and looked very appealing. First I tried the parm crusted chicken... it was cold 😔 the flavor was less like parm chicken and more like seafood. Then I tried the Mac and cheese the flavor was good the pasta was warm but not hot. The flavor combo isn’t my favorite... perhaps next time I will try it with just grilled chicken 🤷🏼♀️ Speed: 💯 Convenience: 💯 Presentation: 💯 Cost: 9 Temperature: 45 Flavor: 60 Overall NOT my favorite dish. Cold chicken on warm pasta was a real...
