First, our server was delightful! We came in for the happy hour which was 4 to 6 PM. They’ve changed it a little bit. Now several of the items are a dozen for $10. We received a dozen boneless wings for $10 and a dozen crawfish for $10 and a dozen clams. And I have to say, the wings and the clams were a little underwhelming. The wings were a bit dry. The clams were served in a bit of a garlic butter sauce but didn’t really seem to have a lot of flair or flavor. The crawfish were very good, though we had the opposite problem there in that I would have liked the dish to have less sauce, because the crawfish were perfectly cooked and delicious. It was a cajun sauce that could’ve been halved to let the crawfish shine a bit more. So overall I would rate the food as a three out of five. But, this is the best painkiller on the beach. Wonderful drink! And like I said, the server was so friendly and really very attentive. So overall we are giving the place a four. Not sure that we would be back just to try the happy hour specials, but the rest of the menu looked pretty enticing.

We travel with our small dog and they allowed us to sit on their patio August 12th, 2025! My husband and I ordered the same thing 10oz ribeye except I got mine with shrimp and potatoes. The food was very good and I only gave 4 star because the seasoning was very heavily sprinkled across all the food including the steak, it honestly was a tad to much. You can even see it on the plate in pictures I have included. The shrimp was tender but also to much seasoning, I dipped in a sauce to offset the spicy. The steak however did melt in your mouth and was cooked perfect to order. I used A-1 and it balanced out the seasoning on the steak but I couldn't eat the potatoes from the seasoning, I did take them to go but ended up not eating them. Staff was super friendly, food did come out fast and hot. It was a very enjoyable evening! I'd return but only if I could request less seasoning. (My pallet is sensitive but my husband said his was even overwhelmed with it. Benefit of the doubt, it could have been a fluke and to much by accident also.)

Visiting Myrtle Beach for the first time and we had a lot of let downs for service… then we found Dirty Don’s! I looked at the menu online and was intrigued with the oyster shooters! But everything else looked delicious too! So, we decided to give it a try. Robin served us and it was the BEST service we had our entire visit! We tried a couple local brews, had oyster shooters, ate lobster nachos and crab legs… EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! We cannot wait for our next trip to Myrtle so we can come back here. Thank you Dirty Don’s and a big thank you to Robin for making our last night so memorable.

Service was excellent and prompt. We ate outside on the heated patio so our dog could be with us. They are definitely dog friendly. Brought our boy a bowl of water immediately. We were seated immediately and our server was excellent.

I ordered a house salad with fried oysters. Salad was generous and fresh. The blue cheese dressing was not very good. Tasted like mayo. The oysters were just warm, rubbery, and had a very strong fishy taste. I took them off my salad and asked my husband to taste one, to be fair. He had the same opinion I did; a strong fishy after taste. I told the server about it and she offered to replace it, but I ate part of the salad and refused a replacement. My husband had fish and chips. His fish was bland, just warm, and the breading was falling off. The fries were just warm and soft/limp. Our grandson ordered lemon pepper boneless wings that were tasteless. He ate less than half the order. His friend ordered a burger & red potatoes. The burger was overcooked and the potatoes were just ok. He ate his entire meal.

The server came to clear the dishes and offer refills. The manager (I think) came out and told us he was taking 1/2 the price off the salad and the wings, which was a good thing to do. He apologized and said he didn’t understand about the oysters because they had just come in earlier that day. Honestly, the oysters tasted like they had been cooked earlier and warmed up later. Our food came out way too fast for it to have been fresh.

We won’t go back, even though the service...

WORMS WORMS WORMS!!!! My partner and I decided to try dirty dons for the first time. Our waiter was nice and checked on us regularly. My partner ordered the po boy and was disappointed but was still edible. The fries tasted like they were soaked in oil. On the other hand, I decided to try the fish sandwich and that was a mistake. I got half way through the sandwich when something was hanging out of my mouth. I then proceeded to pull out a WORM OUT OF MY MOUTH. I left the rest of my sandwich and “street corn”. We told the waiter of the incident after she picked up our check. The manager came and told me it was a natural thing and tried arguing with us after we were unhappy with the food. I understand it’s possible for worms to be in fish but after paying 20 dollars for a sandwich I would expect it to at least not have worms. I watched her play with the worm for a minute that I put in a separate tray. She then tried to say we shorted the bill and took an extra twenty. We then realized that we put the full amount in the check and had to catch her to get our money back. Honestly, the manager could and should have handled the situation better and been nicer instead of sighing and cussing us out under her breath. We let them keep the full amount because obviously they needed the money that bad and I was overwhelmed with the situation. I honestly would have been happier to eat...
