Me and my fiancé went here on Jan 1st for our 6 year anniversary. The inside of this place was so beautiful and why we thought it should get 2 stars. Such a quaint beautifully decorated place. We ordered our food and everything came out almost immediately(About to explain why this was a bad thing for our meal). We barely talked at all, and the food was ready almost immediately which was truly a bit odd for italian restaurants. We ordered calamary and it was very very bland. There was no flavor even with the sauce. It tasted frozen. My fiancé got a pasta and mushroom dish, and I got a small Hawaiian pizza. The pasta dish did not come out steaming like in all italian restaurants we go to (meaning what we were being served wasn’t fresh). Sure enough, the pasta dish was bland, it tasted like cafeteria food. At the end of the night in the car I told my fiancé this, and his jaw dropped because he thought in his mind the exact same thing, it tasted like cafeteria food. He was just so sweet he didn’t want to ruin our night. We laughed because we were both being sweet to one another, but turns out we both thought the exact same thing in our own minds separately, that it literally tasted like cafeteria food. My brick oven baked pizza came out almost immediately, and I was very disappointed. It was dry, salty, and I ordered the Hawaiian pizza which is supposed to have a sweet flavor to it because of the pineapples. The best thing (and this really was good) was the chocolate dessert. Unfortunately we asked our lovely waitress Marissa if this was homemade and she said no it’s ordered. So the best thing they had, the dessert, they didn’t even make in house. For a 90 dollar experience at a local italian restaurant, none of that should have been frozen or taste the way it did. I’m sorry. When food is coming out that fast and there’s no taste, or things you are serving is frozen, or the brick oven pizza could be made longer for a better taste...then that’s a Gordon Ramsay problem. Thank you so much for the experience though. We hope your business authentically does well in the future. It’s just, that was a lot of money for such low quality food. The best advice I could give is something my fiancé said in the car as we left...and that is people are willing to wait and chat with who they are with for a bit as long as when the food does come out it’s to die for. Edit: also we appreciate getting to eat here for our anniversary, but we won’t be returning because of the...
Read moreAbsolute gem of a place to dine. My wife had muscles, shrimp and a clam dish and devoured it. Remarked how delicious the sauce and pasta were. I do not usually eat picata chicken, not a favorite of mine, but this was special in that it was cooked to perfection and tasted superb. I had a Greek salad and white bean soup for starters and both were excellent. With 3 children, 5, 10, and 11, it is hard to find complimentary adult food that offers kids dishes worth getting for the kids. All 3 loved the pizzas we ordered for them. 1 cheese, 1 pepperoni and bacon. My 5 year old daughter usually eats 1/2 to 1 slice of pizza and actually ate 3 pieces. My boys cleaned up the pepperoni and bacon. Drinks and service was excellent. Real napkins and dinnerware. We arrived around 6 p.m. no wait, sat ordered and the food came out quick. Parking wasn't a problem but should be. Especially if this restaurant gets out! Convenient and easy to get to. The Terimisu was absolute divine for dessert. My wife and I split it and shared with the kids.. kids were sad they didn't have ice cream, but forgot after tasting the Terimisu. While our meal was $$$ expensive, I wouldn't call the prices outlandish considering our poolside lunches were running about the same $$$ for burgers and hotdogs with fries. Also note, we had a delightful waitress and other staff helped clear dishes as we finished portions of our meal. Was awesome that all staff was so attentative. P.S. My daughter commented, this pizza is sooo good we need to move to Myrtle permanently. Highly recommend any vacationer or local dine here. Definitely set up for a couples romantic date night and able to cater to a family experience! Compliments to the chefs/owners for providing a classy authentic Italian...

We stopped by Vicini’s after searching for a traditional pizza spot on yelp and we’re SO GLAD we did! We got a margherita pizza and a cheese pizza and they were both excellent. Authentic Italian taste and cooked in a brick oven. It’s obvious the ingredients are fresh and well done. The cheese was delish, the tomato sauce was super fresh and authentic and the crust was excellent with the perfect texture and crunch.
We got the tiramisu and cannoli for dessert and they were also incredible! We had a cannoli that blew our minds years ago in Boston and have been searching for a cannoli as good ever since - we found its rival at Vicini’s. It has a cold custard-like filling, not the overly sweet, icing-like filling a lot of cannolis have. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and we’ll have to try the limoncello tiramisu next time we’re in town.
The service was as amazing as the food! Mario was our server and was very attentive, kind, and helpful with questions. It was clear he takes pride in his work and the restaurant itself. It was lovely meeting him. Seriously top notch service - he’s definitely an asset to the restaurant.
We sat outside with our kiddos since it was such a nice day and the tables were all very clean and cute with checkered red tablecloths and little vases of flowers. The inside was very cozy and ambient. Low lighting and a great spot to have delicious food, a glass of wine, and great conversation.
We loved hearing the story of the owner and how the restaurant came to be. You can tell that every aspect of the restaurant is done with a lot of care and intention. You leave not just feeling like you had a great meal but also that you dined at a gem of a local...
