Let me just start by saying, I did get good (breakfast) tacos at Fuzzy's once. This last experience, however, will keep me from ever returning.
The food: We ordered 4 different kinds of taco (1-fajita beef(on flour), 1 spicy pork(on corn), 1-shredded brisket(on corn) , and 1-bacon, egg, cheese (on flour)..... They all came on flour...
The fajita was salty AF! The meat was OK and tender, but a bunch of salty meat, a sprinkle of cold cheese and tomatoes is not a good taco anywhere.
The shredded brisket was just bland boiled beef with a sprinkle of cold cheese and tomatoes.
The spicy pork was just bland boiled pork, with a slight hint of some hot sauce, a cold sprinkle of cheese and tomatoes.
The breakfast taco we had high hopes for.... Nope... It was salty AF. They salted the hell out of the egg, which, when combined with the salty bacon, made it completely inedible.
We shared all 4 tacos to verify. We ended up throwing the last part of 3 of them away, and we went there quite hungry.....
Trust me, I've had A LOT of tacos all over North and South America. I've had better tacos at my "aunt who can't cook"'s house. Which were just ground beef, a sprinkle of cheese and lettuce.
Now, let's get even better. Apparently the outdoor patio area where we were sitting had been reserved from 7PM on. When the time rolled around, a waitress came up and pretty coarsely stated "Y'all are going to have to finish eating inside or leave, this patio is reserved..." It was the tone and demeanor that really put us off. The professional way to do it would have been to walk around 5-10 minutes prior and give the multiple groups of diners a polite heads up, not tell us to leave or finish eating inside right now....
One last note... The men's bathroom smells worse than any bar in town...
I'm a pretty easy going guy, and will eat just about anything... I will not, however, ever eat at, return to, or recommend Fuzzy's in Nacogdoches...

Read moreI recently visited Fuzzy's Taco Shop and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The menu offers a fantastic variety of tacos, burritos, and other Mexican favorites, all at reasonable prices. I especially enjoyed the Baja Fish Tacos—they were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The service was friendly and efficient, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the laid-back vibe and the outdoor seating option. Overall, Fuzzy's Taco Shop is a great spot for delicious, affordable Mexican food, and I can't wait to go back! Highly recommended! The young man Z that does the dishes is does an amazing job at it. The dishes are always sparkling I never see...
