This was my first dine-in experience in over a year so I was hoping for a really good experience. First, the FOOD was ok. If you've had one IHOP breakfast you've had them all. It didn't really change much. I had an omelet and hash browns. The hash browns were 1 minute away from being burnt but edible. Omelet was ok. The SERVICE is where everything went downhill. When we arrived our intention was to order online for curbside pickup instead because I felt it was a little too crowded for my liking but the website wouldn't allow us to even though a big decal on the window of the building said online ordering was available. I went in and was told something was wrong with the website. After waiting in the car trying to decide on somewhere else to go the crowd thinned a bit so we decided to go in. The hostesses acted like they wanted to be anywhere but there working. Even wearing masks you can hear a smile in someone's voice. They weren't smiling. Our server Jocelyn seemed a bit impatient. We ate quickly and I did not leave a good tip which is unusual because I believe in great tipping for great service. When I got home I received an alert from my online banking showing the charge from IHOP. MY BILL HAD A 20% TIP ADDED TO IT! I immediately called them and got a busy signal. I continued to call them including this morning before writing this review and still a busy signal. Guess I'll be driving from almost an hour away to get this straightened out. Maybe our server felt she deserved a 20% tip but I didn't and it's MY money. What was done...
Read moreAlways have great meals. Last waitress I had was really nice. It adds to the enjoyment of the meal. I work nightshift, and I don't have to cut the quality of food as a result. Good food and staff all day.
2 morning ago. Not a great experience for some reason. Not busy. Ordered a garden omelette, hash browns, and large slice of buttered Texas toast. Well they bring me everything, 1 thing at a time. The potatos are cold, the toast is cold. The toast is not Texas toast, nor does it have butter or jelly. Seems to me I should not have to ask for butter or do I I. Not sure. And seems kind of stale. I tell them it is not what I ordered and he says it is Texas toast. Looks like regular toast to me. But I have to get back to work. This all took over an hour. Still not very busy. I look at the next table and there is a lady with a Texas toast I had wanted. But plain toast is exactly that. IHOP I am never coming back. I come there to relax. I can make cheap ordinary toast with butter at home that is all hot at home. All the food will be served at the same time at the same temperature. . My omelette will also have some kind of sauce. One last thing. Most omelettes have the filling inside, this one was on top for some reason. That was a 1st. The server was nice...
Read moreWe have eaten here for a while but usually during the late night shift with no problems, well trained staff and good food. However the staff and Manager at 9:00 on a Tuesday night is the worst, under trained staff, it has been my misfortune to deal with. The food was horrific, the grilled chicken on my wife's burger was rubbery and not grilled, and tasted like it was microwaved, the 10$ chicken strip and fries I had was comparable to Mc Donald's chicken nugget meal and the fries would have been better at McDonald's. Our waitress forgot my tea, could not tell us what dressings they had, didn't know what a vinnegette was, did not offer any condiments, and had no idea how to pre bus a table. And she was training a new waitress! Some guy in a tank top was playing around in the wait stations with the waitresses, even after the what I think was the manager looked up from her phone long enough to tell him 4 times to get out from behind it before going back to her phone. Upon check out they told my wife a few times that our card was declined, of course it was, it was our AARP card! We paid cash! Some one needs to look into this as it was a great disservice to the place and the...
