UPDATE Answer to the reply from owner: Why was the review 8 days after visit? Because once I paid and left, I put your restaurant off of my radar. Until Google reminded me of the experience we had, and to leave a review. I am QUICK to call a manager over to tell them about an excellent experience and to leave a 5-star review, but not so quick to give less than positive feedback. Hopefully you'll take it for what it was meant to be... A call to action by the owners and manager to not serve sour food to its patrons. And to see it as an opportunity to improve. Maybe you'll do so, and have a thriving business that we'd be proud to call "The Best of Nac". I wish you nothing but success.

We wanted it to be great! But, it just wasn't. Coming from the Houston area, we know great TxMex. We don't miss much about the Big Town, but we do miss having good-to-great Mexican joints. Judge ALL by their fajitas. If you make excellent fa-gee-ters, chances are that everything else will be good. (Papasito's/Gringo's) These fajitas were not. Tiny nuggets of over cooked stripped meat with just okay spices. But, by the second taco, a "sour" tinge came thru that had me stop and ask for the manager. He politely came over and I told him that he needed to taste his own fajitas. Hopefully he did. But, due to the check still having them accounted for, I assumed he did not. This, on top of the fact that our food took entirely too long to come out. And, we are very patient clientele when it comes to food. What a shame. (palm-face) This is the 3rd attempt at a Mexican restaurant in the same building since we moved to Nac. 4th times a charm? All we can do is hope. 1 star for the experience. 1 star for the benefit of the doubt because this place is new. Maybe they'll step it up and get it right. But, someone else will need to place that review, because we'll be eating at the other good (not great)...

Never Again Will My Family and I enter this place!! This was a carry out order. My husband ordered a Fajitas Jalisco 18.99 with Cheese dip 7.95, My daughter ordered Carne Asada Tacos 16.99, My son ordered Seafood Nachos 21.50 and I ordered Enchiladas with Shrimp and Crabmeat 15.95. TOTAL 87.29!!!! NOW BEFORE LEAVING I ASKED THE SERVER,Everything in the order he said yes. We got home in less then 10 minutes my son began to eat the Nachos and not only was the chip soggy on the bottom but the Shrimp tasted like sour fish!!....My husband had no tortilla with the Fajitas, called the store to advise and so we decided go back. DROVE BACK TO THE RESTAURANT TO GET ONLY 2 TORTILLA..Back home both my son and daughter were upset with their meals..The tacos meat WAS greasy and fatty and just NASTY. So I decided to taste the Enchiladas...THE SHRIMP was so disgusting tasting like sour fish. So my daughter and I went back to the restaurant, as we arrive though the door the Manager is already taking stuff. I let them know that we are returning the entire order and what this issues were. The server insisted that he gave my husband 2 orders of tortilla ..DID NOT. He was so rude it was so unprofessional .Then the server proceeded to say,"next time don't eat the food".....I'm like this was suppose to be our dinner. We advised that my husband did keep the Cheese dip,he says," well you will have to pay" and that was no problem. We did get a refund, however the Manager keep telling us to have a great day and just being RUDE .NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN. We went to fuzzy's and enjoyed our order...

We had the worst experience I have ever had at this restaurant. Food took over an hour to come out. I was very understanding as I know they are new and busy. But when the food came out it all went downhill from there. Everyone’s food came out expected mine. It then took 15 mins for me to finally get my food. Once I got my food I asked to get my side of rice that I ordered that they never brought out. 15 mins go bye still never got my side of rice and after looking at my food it was also made wrong. The server never came back to see if everything was good. I went up to a different server and explained my food was wrong and I’m still missing my rice and we have not seen our server. He said he would fix my food. Another 15 mins go buy and I still have received anything and still have not seen our server. After another 10 mins our server finally brings my rice and the stuff my meal was missing. By the time I received my food correctly the rest of my family was done eating and ready to leave. I asked to speak to a manager and it took him 45 mins to come out and talk to me. I waited the 45 mins since I feel feedback is important for new restaurants. I declined the offer to refund my food because I understand people have bad days. But wow that was the worst service by a whole restaurant staff I have...

I should have known better...especially after reading the other reviews! I'm big on salsa and queso and when you can't feel those right, then the food probably not going to be right! I was in town, so I decided to try this place because it was fairly new to this area. From the time we sat down the waiter tried to rush us, because he seemed to in a hurry or in a rush at all times. He was rude, we had to ask for refills, and he was forgetful. The food lacked flavor and was bland. If you like the type of enchiladas where they just wrapped the bland meat in a tortilla and pour enchilada sauce, put a few spoons of ground meat on top(chili sauce) with shredded cheese then this might be the place for you! It was supposed to be "chili sauce". We ordered queso with ground meat but it was bland. It was something about the ground meat, I just don't know what though! It lacked any type of flavor and you really can't mess up queso. I can say that they rice and beans were okay. Oh, I forgot to mention the "salsa"...which was nothing but Pace pic ante sauce that they added a little cilantro to.

I've never been to Guacamoles before until a couple of weeks ago. First impression, I didn't feel super comfortable. I think it was because the host placed us at the worst possible table in the building. The food was great! They didn't have a ton of combos that were gluten-free so I had to do some substitutions. Once I did, it was fine. I asked for gravy on my enchilada, and it came out with queso on top. Another asked for cheese over her rice and didn't get it. So, there were some miscommunications. This review isn't a bad one. The restaurant was clean, and the food was good. I guess it just wasn't what I'm used to. Example, the chips weren't salty. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you like. If you want creamy green sauce like me, this isn't the place. I couldn't handle its spice, but my Husband loved it! The red sauce was great. You really taste the cilantro in it. The queso is white, not yellow. I reccomend the tostaguac with shredded chicken. It was amazing!

As long as you understand this place is basic mid level Tex Mex, you will be happy. It’s enchiladas, fajitas, burritos, etc. The flavors are basic and nothing that will leave you eager to return. But, for what it is, it’s pretty good. I had the lunch special fajitas, mixed. The portion was good size for what I paid. The beef and chicken were both not exactly tender and there wasn’t any type of marinade used that I could tell. Rice and beans were very basic with minimal flavor. Salsa was decent with a little bit of spice.
