The other day I received an order to pick up through Door Dash. This was the second order I received for this location. After experiencing the same issue the second time I decided it’s time to write a review. I’ve been a customer of Coldstone many times before in Meridian IDAHO yet, the poor service I received at the Nampa location was not what I received in Meridian. Both times I’ve visited this location in Nampa I have been left standing waiting for someone to acknowledge I was there. The first time was approximately 10 minutes; they had no other customers in line. The most recent and second time I stood there for almost 20 minutes.
Both times the staff would look at me but not say anything. This last time they had a line. Three staff members working, one with a customer, the other two doing other things. There was approximately three people in line. Yet only one being helped. Like me, the other customers stood there looking around at the other two staff not assisting anyone.
Another Door Dash driver arrived and the young man walked over, passed me and asked the driver who just walked in if he was here for the order for the customer I had been waiting for over 15 minutes for. I said I was here for that order to which he replied oh and grabbed the order which was apparently completed an waiting in their holding freezer. When I left with the order. Read moreFirst off came in with my 8 year old daughter. We have never been here. The first guy with Piercings was amazing and said take your time. When "Westin" or something like that, took over he seemed like he was too busy to help. Mind you we were only ones in the place. My daughter took a long time deciding, and he was very impatient. I had questions for him about the ice-cream that he couldn't even answer. He didn't pay attention to detail as I asked him to put it in a bowl cone. Well, I think he was too busy listening to his ear pods to hear us and got mad that he had to scoop it into the bowl cone. I got ready to pay and he got irritated in helping me put in my phone number. Well, I'm sorry I had a bogo free I wanted to use. He acted as if I were taking money out of his pocket by using my rewards. Wow. I asked him how long he had worked there he said a little over 2 years. Other things were mentioned however, I would feel more comfortable discussing this with manager/owner as I don't feel some of this is something you want on a public platform. Let's just say, if your so unhappy with your job dude.. find a different job. When customers walk in how about a simple greeting? The other guy was amazing. You sir, need to learn basic respect, and manners if you plan to work in public...
Read moreHorrible business and service. I've ordered from their website multiple times, and many times, they forget an item or forget to add toppings. I've let it slide multiple times (and this is after spending at least $60+ each time). This last time, I accidently forgot to change it to delivery instead of Pick Up, and when I called to see if I can either switch it to delivery or cancel my order, the employee was horribly rude.
The person who I spoke to on the phone was mean from the beginning of the call. They said they couldn't help me. To go to the app and canceled it. I said it wasn't the app, it was on the website.
I asked if they could find someone who could help me. He said no. I asked what I should do then. he raised his voice to me and spoke in a very condescending way, like a child, and told me to go to app and cancel it, which I told them again that it was through the website and that there was no cancel option. I again asked what I should do then to get my money returned. He answered again that he didn't know. This entire time, he was rude, and even laughed. I asked if he could get the manager. He ignored me and then asked 'Is that all?'
I emailed the store and the company and never received a word from either. And never received my money back.
