Its very cute and clean. I like the concept, design, and the beers! Great start but room for improvement. Looking forward to watching them grow!
The mini golf is a bit pricey for 9 smaller holes ($9 a person for one game or $14 a person for unlimited, unless youre a memeber) and the holes are a bit of a squeeze, but I know the room is limited for a golf course. The courses were fun shapes and designs and I really enjoyed the wall course. I like that they had places to put your score card/drink down while golfing. My husband and I did have fun completing the courses together.
We tried the The Eagle ($18 for a 14in) for food. Pizza came out quick, ingredients were fresh, tasted good overall! I do wish they had a thicker crust, it does come thin, but thats a personal preference. Hoping to see more topping choices for the future. It did feed both my husband and I just great and we felt the price was good. Water, plates, utensils, are self serve and you order food/drinks at the counter. I didn't get to try the soft pretzel but I was excited to see it on the menu. There were some other various items and paninis on the menu as well.
Now the best part in my opinion, the beer! They had 24 taps and a list of cans and bottles to try! They also had a vodka lemonade drink. The prices were great for the beer so maybe that helps balance out the golf price. They let me try samples and they had so many things I've never heard of or tried. My husband's pint was $6 and I had a 5oz for $4.
The staff was sweet, felt like service was fast and done right.
Overall we spent $48 total and had a good experience, would...
Read moreIn short, it's a super cool concept with good ideas, but a little room to grow!
Positives: Good vibe and decor, nice staff, good prices on beer and pizza (a 14" for under $20 is solid. My wife and I both were plenty full for the price, finding pints for under $7 is hard to do these days). The pizza had good toppings and came out quickly, more of a thin crust, fast cook style. Lots of beer selection (with cool little indicators for how full the keg is!)
My only real notes, $9 feels a little bit steep for 8 holes, it took us about 10-15 to run the course. Would love to maybe see some sort of discount or waiver if you get food/beer. Also, although I did like the pizza, the crust gave me a "pre-packaged" vibe and came out a bit dry. I know how much space it takes to make a good dough, so perhaps shopping around and finding some alternative options could really help kick it up a notch!
Happy to see downtown Nampa growing! Overall a...
Read moreWe recently checked out the new putt putt bar in Nampa we heard about, and it’s the perfect mix of fun and great beer. The indoor mini golf course is creative, challenging, and ideal for both groups and date nights.
Their craft beer selection is incredible, some of the best brews from Idaho and surrounding states that I don’t see often see at other places in the Treasure Valley. I loved the IPA and dark stout and my wife was obsessed with the sour and cookie butter cider —they really know their beer here.
Oh and their food was awesome too! We had a pizza and a massive pretzel that were both amazing.
Whether you’re looking for things to do in Nampa or a unique spot for a night out in the Treasure Valley, this place is a winner. We’re already planning to come back for trivia night and maybe even book a team-building event....
