I've had lots of great pho in Seattle & this place is OK. Probably a decent pho spot for the area. The only disappointing thing was the service, which I thought would've been good from the reviews. I was trying to be polite to the lady serving us, who could've been vietnamese or the owner possibly. I would smile at her, in just a simple way and say thank you anytime she waited on us or brought us something; however, I would only be met with a blank stare, almost a grimace. It was pretty uncomfortable, I almost felt like we weren't welcome. But all smiles with the other customers. Even a couple times, based on her facial expression she seemed bothered.. And I'd like to think I'm an easy customer! On the way out the door, we said thank you and again, nothing. Pretty rude if you ask me.
I goto the pho place by my place all the time back home and they always make me feel good and welcomed when I go; even the grumpy old cook who brings the food orders from the kitchen is friendly with me! You don't really goto pho joints for the service but at least a little basic courtesy would be nice. A bit disappointing considering I was looking forward...
Read moreIf I could give this place 10 stars, I would. This was our first time trying this little hole-in-the-wall pho spot, and it blew us away. Honestly, it might be the best pho in the entire Treasure Valley—no exaggeration. I was a little nervous because the reviews were only 4.4 stars, but now I truly don’t understand why. From the moment I walked in to pick up our takeout, everything was perfect.
The food was ready on time, hot, and fresh. The portions were super generous, the broth was incredibly flavorful, and everything tasted bright, clean, and healthy—no greasy aftertaste or blandness like you sometimes get with pho. The spot itself was cozy and cute, and the person working was really kind and welcoming.
Pho can be really hit or miss, and this one was a big HIT. The price was totally fair for the area, especially considering the portion sizes and quality. We’ll absolutely be coming back—a lot. Don’t sleep on this place!
Edited to add: I ordered the beef pho, My husband got the beef stir fry. And we got egg rolls to share. Our toddler son who tends to be on the pickier side was devouring all of it. He kept...
Read moreThe worst customer service EXPLANATION: I had an awful experience at this restaurant. My girlfriend and I were in a rush, so while I ordered food and waited inside, she went to grab coffee from the coffee shop next door. When she came back to join me, the staff refused to let her in because she had a coffee in a carrier. We politely explained that we wouldn’t drink it inside(i hope everyone understands that cofee and pho is not something that people usually pair together)but the staff was rude and inflexible and told my girlfriend that she can wait for me outside on the street while i would eat my pho .Obviously, I ended up not eating the food at all, paid, and left. I left with a bad impression and will never return. If this is how they treat paying customers, I'd suggest finding a different place where they understand basic customer service. Truly disappointing. Ps.If you go and read the negative reviews this place has, you will see that the majority of them are talking about their horrible attitude...
