We visit HMart in Naperville often and noticed there is a new restaurant in the food court so we decided to give them a try. Service was absolutely horrendous. The guy in the front was the so rude and didn't say a word to me the entire time. Not one word. Has a super mean look on his face, I'm thinking why are you even here if you hate it so much so that totally put me off. We ordered the Jiajangmeon and the seafood Jjamppong and we've had better. Lack flavor and didn't really hit the spot. Everything is expensive nowadays but noodles was also on the skimpy side. I always give a restaurant a 2nd chance so maybe when they are more established and focus more on the taste and service I might give them another try. I've had better service anywhere but here so it's a no for me.

It was average. We had the Champong (spicy noodles) and Tang-soo-yook (korean/chinese sweet and sour pork). Champong was below average. Broth was lacking the depth that I taste in most champong. The noodles were on point, though, and it was filled with good toppings. For me, however, broth makes 80% of champong. Tang-soo-yook was average. It could have been crunchier on the outside - it lacked the second frying that is usually needed for korean fried dishes. Still, it wasn’t bad - just not great. Friend had the jja-jang-myun and devoured the dish. Apparently super good. I know that in general Paik’s makes a mean jja-jang-myung (over the jjampong), and this place was no different. So if you’re eating here, get the Jja-jang-myun!

Its inside the hmart food court, heard great thing about them especially they have a restaurant so we gave it a try! Its reasonably priced, a little high being a food court but it does offer great food if you dine in!  I wouldn’t recommend the carry out, the food still good after taking home but the portion is ‘small’ LOL They are always busy especially when they first opened so you may need to wait up to 30mins Highly recommend the good jajangmyeon (black bean and meat) and jjampong (spicy seafood) noodles. Five star if u dine in, four star carry out lol

I had the chance to visit Paik's Noodle in Chicago for the first time, and the group of us was impressed by the taste, price, and service. We tried the stir-fried jajangmyeon, which had a unique, perfect pinch of spicy, and the not-greasy yet hot jjamppong broth was a nice addition. Sweet and sour pork had no off-putting smell of meat with an ideal balance of sweet and sour sauce, making it exceptional. The variety of shrimp also added to the overall harmony of the meal. The portion sizes were just right for sharing with a group, and the price was quite reasonable :) With excellent service to top it off, I plan to visit again when I go shopping at H Mart, and I highly...
