Surya Tiffins — Restaurant in Naperville

Great at marketing on social media. But the food is not worth the hype. Servings number of items doesn't make up for the lack of quality in the breakfast buffet. It's not just once I tried multiple times n then only writing this review. I highly doubt that all the items that are being served are made by an experienced chef. Upma is so runny, puri curry is so diluted as if salvaging the left over. I know it's freshly made but it doesn't look like that. Even when customers are there they make vada n puri in very small batches, so that ppl don't consume more of such items. 1.25$ for samosas!!! I don't know in which part of India ppl make cocktail samosas with slight sweetish hint. Mainly coz of the location, the restaurant is being filled with foot traffic. The concept of offering only tiffins n variety of dishes, price point are really nice. Highly recommend...

I used to come to this Tiffen center for breakfast buffet. They are keep on increasing the costs, that is fine. Today when I visited, they told only 2 plates/person. Not sure what they are trying to limit as this is buffet.

As they tried to limit 2 plates per person, people are going i food line with used plates and serving food in to their used plates. How bad it is. I never see this in any buffet place.

It is wrong on both sides. Restaurants can not restrict by limiting the plates and People should not go back in food line with the plate they are using.

With this nasty situation, I may not come back to this place.

Free Sickness and stomachache here!! So I ordered famous (they say) chicken biryani made by Robot. Order via Uber eats first they delivery time to later and when you reach there and I have asked cancel order (you can’t do after an hour in app) and they can’t do and been told to wait another 25 mins. Past 25 mins I went to get my food and again they asked me to wait 35 mins. In this time I would have made my food at home and ate. When I bought food home which was after 2 and half hours. Presentation was worse it doesn’t look like biryani. As I was hungry I ate it. Now I am sick and having stomachache. Rice was not cooked properly and chicken wasn’t either.
