Fox River Commons — Local services in Naperville

I have been shopping here off and on for years when it was called Cermak. This was my go to spot all the time for my meats, fresh vegetables spices and seasonings. I like the fact that they have a variety of food and spices for other cultures from other countries. Over the years I have watched them go from a thumbs up 5 stars to a 2 1/2 stars even towards the end of having new owners. I've had a problem with their meats on several incidents where once there was a huge black bug in my fish, the chicken i have had a problem withas well purchasing spoil chicken. I've even witnessed other customers also complaining about buying spoil chicken at International and management wouldn't return customers money back. I was also told by a manager about how they handled the meat once it comes to them it is unthawed to break it down for packing and refreezed so basically ur never really getting fresh meat, that explains why the meats are always spoiled because of the way it is being handled/processed because it has to be frozen while on the truck then they thaw it out again to pack and put the meats out in the coolers as well as sitting it in the fresh window part of the meat department as if ur getting fresh meats when ur...

My experience @ the store was not the greatest one, I honestly don’t recommend it @ all, 1st of all the smell as you walk in was unpleasant instead of produce smelling fresh it had a strong riotten smell, then I approached an employee to help me find an item, & all he said was I don’t know, without trying to help me, while reaching out to the meat department the employees didn’t even acknowledge me at all. They still had merchandise on the floor waiting to be put on the cooler, ( eggs, dairy) temperature could raise & can cause food poising , NOT going to tgese...

Love Fox River Commons! It’s a great little spot with a cool mix of shops and cafes—perfect for a chill afternoon. The riverwalk is super peaceful, and the whole area feels clean and well-kept. Some places are a tad pricey, but the vibe makes up for it. Friendly staff everywhere, and they often have fun events. Only downside? Parking fills up fast on weekends.
