Dog Lovers!!!! I hope this post reaches everyone that saw my last post about Shea's at Lansdowne Street. They admitted they made a mistake and wanted to make it right. Nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. What is important is when you make a mistake, what are you doing afterwards to correct it? Well, I can tell you they have really impressed me with the way they corrected it. I personally met with Aaron Schimmel The General Manager and Heather McLeod The Catering/Event Manager. They invited me to lunch so we can hash this out. We had a great meeting. They apologized and could of not been any more sincere. They both felt horrible about what happened. They are Dog Lovers and want everyone that owns a dog to always feel welcome at Shea's. They want to do something really nice for Domestic Animal Services where I volunteer. We are planning on teaming up and doing a big event to help support Domestic Animal Services real soon. Its going to a really fun event. I will keep you all posted. I ask all of my friends to please support them. I'm 100% supporting them. It was a simple mistake and its now water under the bridge. They do not deserve any negative press or backlash. They could of not been any more professional they way they handled this. I also don't want to forget about Lisa Fury who is also a manager there. She also contacted me and apologized. That says a lot about everyone's character at Shea's. They didn't have to reach out to me and try to make this right. A lot businesses would of just not cared and let it be. I also ask if anyone who wrote a bad review about them on any site to please go back and retract it or delete it. They don't deserve any bad press. They turned this Negative into a Positive. I'm so excited to work together with them to help out our animals at Domestic...
Read moreAppetizers came from a frozen tv dinner.. potato skins and spinach dip..I Guess if you're starving it'll do.. but as as restaurant.. it's unacceptable..Rueben signature sandwich was just ok but ordered CAPE COD CHIPS and was expecting homemade thick cut chips.. but no... the cook pretty much stuffed his hand into a bag of potato chips and threw it in there.. literally right out of a bag of chips..ALSO, typically in a sports bar you hear classic rock or other rock family friendly music.. once hockey game ended.. the music played was R rated hip hop with cursing etc...Not family friendly.. I'm with three young boys and had to sit thru the constant peppering of cringe inducing tasteless lyrics and foul, wash your mouth with soap language.. maybe my experience was unique to this summer, mid week slow Naples day.. where possibly manager was not there?? But nonetheless very SAD.. only good thing.. waitress was nice and place is priced reasonable.....
Read moreI'd give this place 3 stars overall. I had bookmarked this business and been wanting to try it for sometime.
This restaurant has a Boston/Red Sox theme to it, that's not my thing, but I'm sure it will be up some people's alley.
They do have a happy hour everyday from 11-7, so that's a plus! My draft beer was $3. There was a nice assortment of food and drink specials for a limited time window.
Service was a little slow at time, but the young lady who took care of us was pleasant.
The menu is mostly standard American fare, nothing too exotic, which is ok with me.
I had a flat bread pizza and it was alright, I'd say 7 out of 10. My husband had a French Dip, which he enjoyed, but he didn't like the fries.
They do have outdoor seating, so that was great since we had our small dog with us.
I'd come back and try it again. I thought our total bill was not too bad for this neighborhood. For 2 draft beers, the pizza and sandwich we paid...
