Sadly one of the worst experiences We’ve ever had at a restaurant. We like to do wine dinners at different restaurants in Naples every week. We contacted the restaurant in advance and asked if they offered a corkage fee. They replied yes they do it was $25 per bottle as long as the wine was not on the wine list. We are normally 6 to 8 people who love great wines and prefer older vintages. We arrive at the restaurant and the waiter informs us were only allowed two bottles. We mentioned that we had called And we’re not informed of the two bottle limit. The waiter confirmed with the manager and we were told they only allow two bottles. We were a little disappointed but had no problem with that. We ordered ordered two more bottles from the menu. The rest of the night went downhill from there. We ordered the large tower which was supposed to come with crackers for all of the spreads and we had asked for horseradish. Neither of which came. We were able to grab the waiter and he did bring the horseradish later. Our next course was our entrées. Two of the guests ordered the black grouper which was so dry that it was not edible. It was so dry they drank all of their water and there was nobody to refill the glasses. Two of the guests ordered the fillet and lobster tail with béarnaise sauce. We asked for them to bring drawn butter for the lobster tail. Fillets came to the table neither with the béarnaise nor the butter. Both were topped with a peppercorn sauce that was supposed to be on the New York strip that nobody ordered. One of the steaks that was Pittsburgh rare was ice cold. The waiter Never took the time to come back and check to see how everything was until we were almost finished. He was too busy chatting with the table of girls next to us and ignored us. Sadly I think he was disappointed that we brought wine and weren’t going to order a bunch of bottles of wine from the wine list. Little did he know we would’ve been his best tip of the evening. We always compensate above and beyond for restaurants that allow us to bring our own wine. Most restaurants do not have an extensive wine list or any vintage Wines. We always make the waiter happy. The evening went so bad that I went to the manager To let him know about our disappointment. I told him I was not looking for anything free I just wanted him to know how bad our experience was And that none of the guests would return it was so bad. He noted that he had checked the black grouper and agreed it was extremely dry it was not to the quality that they should serve. I am not a complainer or a letter writer but I felt the manager should know how bad the experience was. To top it all off, I’m assuming the manager told the waiter of our conversation. The waiter had the audacity to confront us at the table and try to defend his lack of service and to accuse us of trying to get him fired. He went on to say that they talked to the hostess and there was no way that she didn’t tell us there was a two bottle limit. Which technically was calling us a liar. If a two bottle limit was told to us and it wasn’t acceptable to us we would’ve gone to a different restaurant.. I’ve never had a waiter confront a table before like he did. I think it was very unprofessional and uncalled for. After all that being said we were still a $600 table for 6 people after they comped the two black grouper. Even after all this we understand that our tip goes towards everybody in the restaurant and the food runners and back waiters and we still...

We (4 couples) arrived Sunday evening for dinner at 6pm and seated immediately at a perfect 8 top table inside. We looked around the main floor of the hotel, lovely lobby (hip/chic vibe, not the Ritz…but chic) and looked into The London Club, then looked outside. They have a huge outside seating dinner area, mostly shaded, but it’s too warm in May (generally) and kids in the pool having fun aka loud…so we were thrilled to be inside. Next time we definitely will book The London Club for dinner, open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, very Vegas loungy vibe!
Our server Christian was fabulous! With 8 ppl chatting and half paying attention, and some “particular” he did an awesome job. Water, ordered cocktails (all different and some specific), then a bread service which is amazing…cornbread…delicious!
We all had a starter, from corn Caesar salad, cauliflower salad, oysters, beet salad and all were amazing! Oh, the chef did an Amuse Bouch of soup in a cute little terrine. Then more cocktails. Dinner was 3 Lobster & Filet w/Frites, 2 Salmon, 2 Tripletail special, and a full Lobster dinner. Everyone raved and from the plating to the last bite, everything was perfect.
For dessert we split 3 orders of Beignets which were warm and served with bourbon caramel & chocolate sauce. More cocktails…
We were not rushed even though the restaurant was BUSY! We left at 8:15pm and frankly I was shocked at how busy it was, like is this Naples??? Anyways if your younger, like eating late, or want a hip vibe, this is definitely the restaurant and hotel for you!
Our bill was $989 plus tip. Right on target with price for the experience we had. Since our group is full timers, we will definitely return off season, maybe monthly it was...
Read moreA first time experience and a big disappointment. Service and food wasn't up to par and this was brought to the attention of the manager. Even though it wasn't an experience that we were looking for there is no excuse for the way our waiter confronted us when he brought our ticket. If, he had an issue with us that should of been brought to the attention of his manager. Then it is tthe manger's responsibility to handle the problem at hand. You do not accuse your guest of lying when you yourself were never a part of the original conversation and making a scene only makes matters worse. Bottom line? The waiter was not handling the situation in a professional manner. It was uncalled for and immature. As for the food? My burger was good but, my friends complained about their food being served cold or their fish being very dry and several items were forgotten. Also, when the restaurant was called before the reservation was made (regarding our party bringing wine) they failed to mention the wine limit (which could easily be human error) This misunderstanding could also been handled differently. (Too long to go into) Anyway, one thing lead to another and all in all everything was handled very poorly. It's sad to say, not 1 out of the 6 of us...
