My husband and I visit Brooks Burgers every time we stay at our home in Naples. We come about 4/5 times a year. Sometimes it’s just us, other times we bring our kids and grandkids. We love the burgers, sides and more. It’s always cold there, but last night was just ridiculous. The food ended up getting cold as it was like a meat locker in the place. I got up to complain to the gentleman in charge last night about iit. At first he said he could do nothing about it because senior management would not allow him to raise the thermostat. We were so uncomfortable, I respectfully got up a second time, and he then reluctantly turned the fan off. That helped a bit, but it was still very, very cold. I think the environment will turn people away in the future. We have been loyal customers for the last 7 years, but next time we are craving a burger, I doubt we’ll go to Brooks — which is too bad. Other patrons were complaining about the cold too— but I actually got up twice to say something. This was totally unnecessary. Your servers were obviously cold too because they all had on heavy sweatshirts! Brooks is the #2 burger place in the world? Keep it up you’ll lose your rating entirely. On a positive note, our server Janie was terrific. p.s. I purposely dressed in jeans and a sweater as I know it is always cold there, however, and at risk of repeating myself, it was incredibly uncomfortable.
*an addendum: April 2025. We just returned a few days ago— with our grandchildren in tow. Everything was absolutely perfect and super delicious. Our server, Janie was great, and it was perfectly comfortable temperature wise! We had a terrific time. Thank you for listening. We...
Read moreToppings for a Chicago dog are not diced onion, tomato and green pepper on a plain dog with old bun. Two of these and a shake ordered shouldn't be $48. Tried to speak with the manager but he was more impressed with his employees for pulling one over on the customer than trying to rectify the situation. Lesson learned, don't call and order off the advertisement sign on the road because they don't have the ingredients for what you order, they won't give you a total or explain the menu, leaving it vague means overcharge, and when u catch this and ask for help, the manger will put it on you to know the menu better. When my family from Chicago visits I always put them up near this burger place so they can walk there and have familiar eats, now myself nor them will be returning. If they're okay with pulling one over on myself a 35 year old, believe me they're banking on doing it to the elderly that make up the majority of our population here. Smh I loved this place since I moved here a few years back.. rethink what the management is representing for your brand please. This is not the route, I promise. Also would like to add, it was not busy in the slightest so the time could have been taken to help me instead of feed some excuses and excuse yourself.
Update: I have sent email as requested by your response and can assure this is 100% accurate. I look forward to your reply to rectify this and am happy to come in person, like my email stated to show which manager, what was served, and what I was billed. In order to prove my review is truthful and so you can ensure this...
Read moreI’m not one to publicly bash or badmouth a restaurant, but I left Brooks Burgers in Naples feeling deceived, disappointed, and frankly shocked at the quality of food we were served.
My wife, our four kids, and I were looking for a quick bite while in Naples. Brooks Burgers came up with what seemed like promising reviews, so we decided to give it a try.
We ordered fried pickles, onion rings, three smash burgers, two chicken tender meals, and a corn dog. When the food arrived, our excitement quickly turned into disbelief. The onion rings and fried pickles were nearly unrecognizable—buried in an overwhelming amount of thick, greasy batter that tasted like old, rancid oil. The smash burgers looked more like tiny, basic kids’ cheeseburgers, and the fries were so greasy I wouldn’t feed them to a dog.
After a couple of bites, it was clear this meal was completely inedible. Without making a scene, I called over who I believe was the manager, paid the bill in full, and we left—leaving almost all of the food untouched on the table.
Looking back, I can’t help but question the glowing reviews for this place. Many appear to come from “local guide” accounts with hundreds of reviews, which makes me suspect that at least some of these ratings may be artificially boosted.
I regret not taking photos of the food, but in the moment I was too stunned by the experience. To the owner: shame on you for serving food of such poor quality—food so greasy and unhealthy it’s not only unappetizing but potentially harmful to the...
