The only reason I am giving one star is because of the view. I was dining here with two of my friends and our experience started out fine but we were never told the specials and never offered dessert at the end. Once we got our food, we never saw our waiter again. We had finished our food and were waiting for a check for about 15 minutes before our waiter finally made an appearance. He had put all of our food on one check and upon telling him we needed it separate, he rudely replied, "Well, you never told me." He came back for our payment a couple minutes later and one of my friends paid in cash. He proceeded to change out her cash right at the table. It was uncomfortable and he did not give the right amount. We were all a little put off and decided to leave a lower percentage tip in cash because of the unsatisfactory service. Our waiter came back to the table before we left to collect the signed receipts and proceeded to ask us, "Are you guys not leaving me any gratuity?" We were floored. I replied that we were leaving it in cash. He then spread out the cash left and said, "that's it? It should be 18%." My friend said we weren't satisfied with the service and explained why. He then argued that he never came back because our drinks were mostly full. We replied that that wasn't the point and he ended with, "i hope you all have to waitress someday." I personally work in an industry were I am tipped so I know the value of a tip but the reaction we received was so unprofessional, rude and ruined our evening. So, if you decide to visit the Village Pub, let's hope your waiter...

We have visited the Naples Pub before but not at this location. Unfortunately the one visit we had today will be the one and only visit at this location. Server seemed to be all over the place and in charge of the bar at the same time which sets him up for failure. The queso chips appetizer was awful. The chips were stale and the “dip” had zero flavor and luke warm, we tried to add table salt and pepper to it and still was awful. It ended up being comped. When I asked how the queso was made the server said that it was a good question he had no idea. It tasted like condensed soup. Just awful. Then as for my meal the coconut shrimp it didn’t come with the dipping sauce I had to ask for it the sweet potato fries were cold and old with zero flavor, the coleslaw was just okay and wasn’t sure why I was given so much mango salsa which seemed like should’ve been on a different plate. Took a long time to get everything and then when we asked for the check it took a long wait as well we were just ready to leave. My husband said that the men’s bathroom was pee absolutely everywhere and making it near impossible to step up to use the restroom . All in all. Very disappointed. We wait so long for a date night we’re so busy and when our Marine is in town and lets us go take a date night this is how it is, instead of letting everyone know what a great meal we had and time location etc we go back with “never go there and this is why”.
