Seriously, chicken Francaise with mashed potatoes for a side? You actually have this on your menu and you're still willing to call yourself an Italian cuisine???
Mashed potatoes shouldn't even be an option at a restaurant that has prices this high, maybe twice baked or some specialty mashed potato but not just plain mashed here's a scoop of mashed potatoes beside your 24.00 Chicken.
When I told the waiter to take the mashed potatoes off the plate and put some linguine on it, he told me at a table of 5 that just gave him an order over $200 that there will be an upcharge for the linguine? Do you know how much linguine cost a box? Okay no problem we'll pay the upcharge 6.50 for over cooked swimming in oil linguine.
I lived in Naples it's all exclusive yada yada yada la-di-da whatever so if you're going to charge these prices step up your game.
Menu totally lacking.
Prices ridiculous for what you got.
all your Italian meals come with a linguine side. At real Italian restaurants but not this one.
Like another reviewer said it's American menu not Italian!
No salad with a meal ?
Waiter didn't even ask if we wanted salads ala carte.
most Italian restaurants that charge higher prices like this one usually always include a salad, besides the fact when you are ordering veal francaise or chicken francaise excetera you're always giving a choice of a pasta side why the heck they put mashed potatoes on their menu is hysterically funny.
There are so many choices in the gorgeous waterfront shoping, many restaurants to choose from, and of course the reason why we ended up there was because my brother got this restaurant through OpenTable.
Open Table:
Is a paid for by the restaurants 99.00 a month 199.00 membership fee a year.
so therefore in order for you to write a review on the restaurant on OpenTable you have to be the person who makes the reservation through OpenTable then write a review after you've gone to the restaurant.
You have so many restaurants to go to I suggest trying one of those instead of this one.
We have no idea to this day who our waiter was five different people came to our table the waiter that took our order we never saw him again, so we don't know if it was him or the person we asked bread for he never came back with the bread so we had to ask somebody else it was wrong and we were the first people there our reservation was for 4:45, so the excuse for...
Read moreWent there for a family dinner a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a bottle of Jordan Cabernet and appetizers. When the waiter uncorked the bottle it popped like Champaign and spilled on the table (first sign). After we tasted the wine, it was tasted horrible, like vinegar. I am not a wine sommelier but I am familiar with red wine and have a descent collection in my wine cellar. We called the waiter over and told him this bottle was oxidized and not good. I also asked him to try it so he may confirm. He immediately apologized and I proceeded to order a bottle of Caymus Cabernet, mind you this is an upgrade to the Jordan. He uncorked the Caymus and it was good. After the appetizers were bought to our table, a lady came to our table without introducing herself and went on to say that they do not take back bottles but she would do us a favor and discount the bad bottle of wine! I have never heard of such thing in my life and this was actually only the 2nd time in my life that I returned a bottle of wine because it was bad. In my first experience of having a bad bottle, obviously in another establishment, they couldn't apologize enough and I told them it was not their fault and it happens. My wife asked her who she was and she rudely asked her "who are you???". She then tells us that her name is Kate and she is the manager. I asked her if she tasted the wine and she said she did and there was nothing wrong with it. She stated that Jordan wines have a "harsh taste". In my book, harsh taste= bad wine. I told her that she was a very rude individual and then immediately asked for them to cork the bottle of Caymus and give us the bill. I will never visit this restaurant again and have already told all my friends. And yes, we are all full time residents and have patronized this restaurant multiple times. No longer will we go again unless they dismiss the manager and apologize for her unprofessional and...
Read moreWe went to this restaurant for our anniversary . The location is beautiful. The waiter came to the table and didn’t speak English very well at all. He took our drink order with such hesitancy and in fact brought back the wrong drinks. A vodka soda and lime and a vodka on the rocks should not have been difficult. He took our order and struggled thru the specials but I asked more than once if it was breaded and he said no. He brought an appetizer with one of our dinners. We have never returned food so my husband kept his dinner and we put the appetizer plate over it took keep it warm. Waiter never came back and the food server arrived 20 minutes later with the other dinner. It was breaded of course but I knew it was going to be if you met this waiter. Waiter never came back to the table to ask if we wanted another drink or how everything taste. We ordered desert and that was a mistake also. They called it chocolate cake it wasn’t , it was Like Boston cream pie. That was one of my worst experiences I have ever had . I ordered a veal chop and got pounded veal parmigiana with sauce and cheese . $62.00 hmmmm For veal parmigiana. If I wanted veal parmigiana I would of gone to Enzos. This restaurant is a must miss. I live here and understand that help is hard to get right now but don’t take the dishwasher and ask him to wait on tables. Young Managers don’t understand that when you spend $100.00 or more on a dinner, it’s about the whole experience not just the food. If it was just the food we would eat at home. These managers today don’t understand as they never took their wives or girlfriends out to a nice dinner. Upon leaving I made a comment to the hostess that the service left a lot to be desired....
