Horrendous purchasing experience. Never again. When purchasing the sofa, salesman told me date that it would be available, I asked if there was a sooner date. He stated no. I told him to give me a moment as I needed to call my wife to make sure that was a good date. Maybe a 60 second phone call. Came back to the salesman and he stated since I took so long on the phone now my dates pushed out until the 27th. I said that’s fine just please confirm that I can pick it up as I did not want to pay $100 to go ten miles. He said oh now I have to rework everything. I thought you wanted delivery. “Reworks” the paperwork and not only is the date now set for the 2nd but the pride magically went from 498 to 1098. I told him that I’m leaving. He brought over a manager to adjust the price which she could clearly see my frustration. She apologized and completed the purchase. The salesman was Pretty shady to me and I will never purchas anything from them again. Infact I went to American freight just an exit up got better service and they had same day delivery. So now I’m just waiting on this couch to complete my house

Ok, so couch comes in, great! Get a text message that couch is available. Super stoked. Hired a delivery company to grab it due to me being out of town. I get in town today a day after picked up, WRONG COUCH!!!! I ordered a sleeper and they sent me a stationary sofa. In addition, I sent all my information to the email you all wanted and was never reached out too nor any sign of attempt to contact. This place is a joke!!!!
New update. I call the store get placed on a nearly 30mins hold because and I quote “there are paying customers here that we have to take care of first” IM A PAYING CUSTOMER WHO HAS ALREADY PAID!!!!!! Manager comes to phone asks name and phone number, then puts me on another 12min hold. From there says that he can not make decision to resolve this as it was rung up for the wrong couch and that he would have to get with customer care to fix this. What a joke. Once again emailed the email that they told me too... nothing. I’m going to the BBB if this isn’t resolved by tomorrow.
Got a call and a text on the 7th about swap out on new sofa for the 11th of October. Guess who didn’t show on the 11th of October. No call, no messages, no emails, nothing. I get a call today on the 13th wanting to set up a replacement delivery swap for the 18th similar to the one I received in the 7th. Explained that this was scheduled for the 11th and Ashley was a no call no show. They say, that’s a lie, no one had it scheduled. I said ma’am, I have the text message from you all stating that. Asked to speak to supervisor placed on a 15 min hold. Then told we can put a request in for another priority delivery. Still no response from any owner, manager, district, or any from of supervisor. I suppose this company thinks they’re too big to actually care of any for of customer service. At this point, this incorrect couch is going outside in the rain and I’m calling my card to cancel...
Read moreI’ll start by saying my issue isn’t with this Ashley Outlet. It’s with Ashley. But unfortunately I have no way to review Ashley overall.
If I could offer customers one piece of advice for purchasing from Ashely, it would be this: don’t. I ordered a bedroom set from a local Ashley store on November 28 2021. I just received it yesterday (September 17 2022). Yes, that is a full 10 months later, or 40 weeks compared to their estimated 16 with the disclaimer that it may extend beyond that timeframe. Clearly. Waiting an additional 6 months wasn’t the only issue, either. Soon after purchasing the set, I called Ashley and requested one of the items be taken off as I no longer thought it would work in the space. I was assured that it was taken care of. Fast forward to when I called several months later (to get an update on my anticipated delivery date for the upteeenth time) and when reviewing the items in my order, the item I requested to be canceled (and was assured was canceled) was still on my order. I again requested the item be removed and was again assured it was taken care of. Well, when I finally received my delivery, guess what was included. Ashley chat told me there were no returns. Unacceptable. I called Ashley and suddenly I could return it. So which is it? So, now I’m dealing with the inconvenience of having to return a heavy piece of furniture I didn’t want in the first place. Is that all? Oh no, I’m not done yet. After waiting for nearly a year for my delivery, I got a call from the delivery team (a separate entity) warning me that all of my furniture was damaged after being imported. They said there was no point in delivering any of it. At this point, nothing surprised me. I was left to wait yet again. Four additional weeks.
Throughout my experience I was in touch with Ashley multiple times. And I can honestly say there is such a lack of compassion. If you contact their team, you’ll be given a generic “I’m sorry” and no attempt to resolve the situation. Not only are they wholly unconcerned, they also like to pass the buck. If you call Ashley, oh it’s the store’s fault. Or it’s the delivery team’s fault. It’s never their fault. Please don’t have any expectations. My last conversation is what spurred me to write this review. I was met with the same lack of sympathy or concern that I’d seen over and over again. I look forward to canceling my Ashley credit card and never having to deal with them again. Please learn from my mistakes.

Read moreDO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! I bought a love seat and a recliner on August 5th. The store informed me that the furniture would be delivered on August 13th.
3 days before the delivery I received 3 different confirmations(phone call, text and email)for delivery on the 13th. I confirmed the delivery date within minutes of recieving all 3. The next day I got a text message asking me to schedule for a different date. They pushed my delivery date back to Aug. 17th. I’m irritated but I deal with it.
The delivery arrives and they wait until they offload my recliner into my aprtment to inform me that my loveseat was on backorder. The delivery guy hands me a phone where a lady informs me that the store would be calling me later that afternoon to schedule the delivery of my loveseat. No one calls.
I have to call the “guest response line” multiple times to attempt to figure out what is going on. They inform me that the earliest they can deliver my love seat is Aug 24th. I ask for a confirmation email and never receive one.
I called the Antioch store that I purchased the furniture from(5301 Hickory Hollow Pkwy, Antioch, TN 37013) and ask if I can just pick up the loveseat as no one can give me any information about the $2k+ furniture I purchased. They say yes and give me the address of the distribution center(255 Industrial Blvd, La Vergne, TN 37086) and tell me the item is ready to be picked up. I drive out to the distribution center. I wait for about 40 minutes until an employee comes out and informs me the loveseat won’t even arrive to the store until September 4th. They cannot give me a solid date for delivery. I leave the distribution center.
Both myself and my wife call the store and the “guest response line” asking what is going on. Nobody returns our calls. We call the distribution center and they inform us that they will refund our delivery fee for the loveseat... I explain that nothin needs to be delivered as we were picking up the loveseat ourselves. They tell us that is all they can do and hang up.
We made the mistake of assuming this company was reputable, you do not have to make the same mistake. Save yourself a huge headache and go to American Signature or even American Freight. At least there someone will treat you like an...
