Clean Eatz — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Never write bad reviews but this place royally messed up and their customer service to find solutions was equally as bad. I am not from the state and in town for work. I researched meal prep companies and ultimately chose clean eatz. I called two weeks in advance to find out when there menu was released, etc. Last Thursday the menu was released and the macros were very high. The woman on the phone was so nice and told me that they offered custom orders. She walked me thru the process. I called back two times for help and she was so patient and sweet. She confirmed that the orders would be ready Sunday. Sunday morning I called to see if they had options to deliver my order to hotel. They did not so I let them know I was ubering over. Which was fine. When I arrived to pick up my order on Sunday, the three employees at the front desk looked at me like I had five heads and said “ummm will you be back tomorrow? Whoever you talked to didn’t tell you right. Custom orders are different and they aren’t ready.” I ORDERED ON THURSDAY AND TRIPLE CONFIRMED PICK UP ON SUNDAY. I was very upset and the only solution they offered was to call the owner for refund. They made sure to mention they wouldn’t be able to get a hold of him today & to get refunded money it would be Monday/ Tuesday. I ended up picking out a few meals because I was left no choice and they did not charge me which is what they should have done. I was with two friends and the people at the front were talking poorly of me because I was upset with their service. Riddle me that, they looked young so will blame it on that. I was disappointed. Was meeting some friends here for dinner. I called ahead to check on what I could eat based on my allergies. I was given some options of sauces on the phone, but then told in person when I got there that there were no sauces or even salsa that I could get without soy. (Who puts soy in salsa?!) I had to err on the side of caution because of my health issues. The food was extremely bland and flavorless without sauce, probably would have brought some from home or eaten beforehand if I'd known it was going to be that way. (That's why I called ahead.) Anyway, a web search afterward says there are options for dairy/soy/gluten free. Who knows what is the truth, because I don't!

EDIT: Tried again as my friends have a weekly meetup here, and based on my reply from the biz and the website I thought maybe there was just confusion that day. Was offered an allergen menu (😊 great start!) Food tastes MUCH better with seasoning and sauce, however the allergen menu isn't fully reliable I was told because they cross contaminate. I can normally eat off of an allergy menu in any given restaurant without incident, but not here. Although the food was much tastier, adding the sauce/seasoning (even though its listed safe from dairy/soy/gluten on the allergen menu) did cause me pain. Not their fault as they did warn me, the cross contamination must be severe here. I will try to remember to bring my own seasoning and sauce next time because the food is pretty decent with some flavoring!
