Dalton's Grill — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Food generally overcooked and ordinary and mushy vegetables. The last two times I never received a receipt after paying on a hand-held cc swiping device. One wonders where and who uses your information. Our waitress had trouble with her cc swiping device so we had to wait and wait until we didn't know what - just sat waiting, Finally another waitress came to the table with her card swiper and asked "what percentage" I wanted to tip. Mind you - this wasn't a machine I could see and she held it the entire time. I am assuming they had you tip on the tax as well. I declined to tip - she seemed mad and immediately left the table to talk to our original waitress who came over equally unhappy. When I asked for a receipt I didn't get one saying she had already cleared the machine. What is wrong with this place that they shake you down to tip, can't furnish receipts, don't let you see the bill and have an attitude when you don't tip and expect you to do so to the point of adding it to your bill themselves? A call to the manager went nowhere as she had an attitude as well and defended the practice saying it was typical of...

I just left the restaurant and sat there for a while only getting served a drink I figured they were busy so I waited but when the other guy walked in they took his order instantly I don’t want to say it was a race thing because I’m not that type but I mean I was the only customer in the restaurant before he came in they usually have pretty good food I go here often it’s really the only restaurant I eat at in belvue it’s usually a guy that serves me and I never had a problem I try to tip what I can sometimes it’s smaller sometimes bigger this is my first time ever leaving a bad review for any establishment as of now I’m eating a few doors down at Cancun and my order was taken as soon as I got to my seat with a restaurant full of people and because of this experience I will NEvER go back to this restaurant EVER because I loved it there and these women didn’t even look my way after giving me my drink and hopefully this review changes the experience of future customers like me I swear I’m thinking about going back and tell them about their selves because they were wrong...

This establishment has decided to BAN Firearms and has posted so on their Store Front. They do not provide any armed security to defend or protect their Patrons. ● Since they refuse to respect our Lawful Right to protect ourselves, via Carry Permit Holders, and they choose to infringe upon our Second Amendment (which is their Right) I strongly suggest Patriots and informed Citizens to contact this Business and advise them that you will NOT be a vulnerable Customer in their place of Business and that you will be sharing such concerns far and wide !
