I am leaving the restaurant now after attending a good friend’s birthday dinner - reservations made for 9:15 for a restaurant that closes at 11. THE EXPERIENCE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone (friend or foe) due to the extremely slow service and belittling of customers by the manager- Linda. We sat in the bar area awaiting our table for 15 minutes only to be approached by a worker who stated “your table is ready. I thought someone told you.” After we sat there with no one approaching (just waitresses walking by) for roughly 10 more minutes our party of 7 had someone tell us someone would be with us shortly. It took another 10 minutes for a waitress to come take our drink orders and say that she actually wouldn’t be our server. ANOTHER 10 minutes (and I’m rounding down) passed before we were introduced to our server for the night- Sidney. By this time it is 10 o’clock, there are only 2-4 other tables (all small parties) and we are just now getting drinks we ordered about 20 minutes ago brought to our table. Since we know the restaurant closes at 11 and are sitting directly in front of the kitchen, we ask about the food eta around 1030 (containing an appetizer, salads and seafood- quick cooks times in a non-crowded restaurant). Only then do we hear the kitchen calling our orders so we ask Sidney to speak with the manager. Linda, oh, Linda. There is NOTHING decent to say about her blatant lack of customer service/care and deceptive way she passively passed the buck to her staff. After getting several “sorry you feel that way” and “sorry you think that wasn’t fast enough” with NO RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESOLVE we asked for the information of who was over her. She then gave a member of our party the restaurant business card and wrote ‘Nicole Hynes’ at the top. When asked if it provided her direct line she stated yes. LIAR. After we called the number and realized it was the number to the restaurant, she was approached and only then did she mention it’s illegal to give out the direct information of the other person. Finally, when asked why she lied about it instead of just stating that to begin with she stated Nicole would be in the restaurant tomorrow at 9am (less than 12 hours) after we would be leaving this horrid experience. SOMEONE in leadership who can display decent customer service skills should reach out to our party. I feel bad that Sidney, who seemed like a decent waitress, has to work...
Read moreI do not know what has happened to this place. I have been eating here somewhat regularly for several years. I have celebrated birthdays, my own bridal shower luncheon, and just normal date nights here. The last three times we have been in the last 6 months has been just so bad its kind of like...did that just happen?! For starters there is a host who answered the phone and was just straight up dog cussing and degrading the person on the phone right in front of us, and then she started complaining about her coworker to us and just cussing and carrying on and on for about 5 minutes, all the way until she sat us at our table, it was incredibly awkward. At my bridal shower lunch of about 12 people the server just assumed we were all on one check, instead of asking, and when some people wanted separate checks she rolled her eyes and stomped off irritated. Then last night we went and there were four tables that stayed dirty for over an hour, the restaurant was not busy. Aside from that, we sat at our table for over 10 minutes before we were greeted by a server. There was a waiter who kept looking at us and passing by us and serving the table in front of us and behind us, but didn't bother to ask if we had been helped, he knew we hadn't been acknowledged. The manager passed by several times as well. Come to find out another server had to take our table completely outside of his section (on the opposite side of the restaurant) because "no one else could." Poor guy was so nice and apologetic to us and knew we'd been neglected so he comped our appetizer. But we are not "those people" who complain, so we didn't, and we also don't expect free things for errors. I worked in food and beverage for many years, so I am usually the lenient customer when it comes to reviews, but I used to be excited and proud to bring people here but now it is just embarrassing and the equivalent to going to a fast food restaurant. Whoever is in charge of this place, who doesn't sit in an office in another state somewhere else, really needs to figure out what...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked through the doors of Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance is simply enchanting - the warm lighting, the rustic decor, and the comforting scent of wood-fired cuisine create an atmosphere that's both inviting and sophisticated.
Our server was the epitome of hospitality; their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and their recommendations were spot-on. We started with the appetizers, and the Lobster Spinach Queso was a revelation! The blend of flavors was exquisite, the lobster was succulent, and the spinach added a delightful freshness.
The main courses were nothing short of culinary magic. The Wood Grilled Filet Mignon melted in our mouths, perfectly cooked with a char that only a wood fire can impart. Each bite was an adventure in flavor, complemented by the sides which were thoughtfully prepared to enhance the meal without overpowering the star of the dish. The Firebirds Signature Cocktails were a beautiful addition, each drink crafted with care and creativity.
Dessert was the crowning glory - the Creme Brûlée Cheesecake was a masterpiece. The balance of textures and flavors was divine, leaving us with smiles of pure satisfaction.
The service throughout our meal was seamless, attentive without being intrusive, ensuring every moment was enjoyable. The management clearly values customer experience, evident in every detail from the clean, elegant table settings to the thoughtful farewell at the end of our meal.
Firebirds isn't just a meal; it's an event, a celebration of food, flavor, and fellowship. We left not just satiated but truly delighted, already planning our return. If you're looking for a dining experience that's memorable, luxurious, yet welcoming, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is your destination.
