Fun brewery!
Was in town last weekend from Minnesota to see the Wild in their game here against the Predators, and this here brewery is the one to start the trip off. As I'm quite the craft beer junkie, as soon as I found out about this place when searching for some craft breweries to visit while in Nashville, this one instantly went on my list. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were nicely sized (we were outside as there was some live music and stuff going on last weekend for the earth day birthday event), and inside they also had a popcorn popper as well as board/card games as well. Also a nice selection of merch too; along with the Fennario IPA (pictured) 6 pack I got to bring back home with me, I also got a nice quality sweatshirt with the Fennario label as well as clever t-shirt of theirs that has just the brewery logo up front and then the Nashville skyline and then "Nashalope" below that.
Overall, definitely a brewery worth visiting amongst the many other ones that they have here for in their surprisingly good craft...
Read moreI visited Jackalope Brewery last Sunday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The staff were unfriendly and carried a bad attitude (as though it was a hindrance to serve us). Even though it wasn’t busy (only four groups were outside), no one checked in on us to see if we were happy with our flight/customers in general needed anything.
Added to this, the beers were underwhelming. The Weisse and Shine in particular was extremely bitter and undrinkable. On top of that, the atmosphere was uncomfortable — the music was loud and harsh, some sort of drum and bass mix that felt more like a nightclub than a brewery, definitely not customer-friendly or relaxing.
Overall, between the poor service, unpleasant vibe, and lackluster beer, I wouldn’t recommend this brewery or return...
Read moreA nice find in Nashville! This brewery offers a modest selection of their beers (with cans for sale) and a neat atmosphere with a few tabletop games. Avoid the round tables closest to the brewery side of the restaurant, because those are extremely unstable and half my drink poured out just from a friend putting their hands on the table.
Besides that, they have excellent beer, they have a local cider made fairly closely (Diskin Cider), and usually have a food truck that will serve food. Please note that this place does NOT have their own food besides pretzels, so they highly encourage bringing your own food from somewhere else to eat while you have a few drinks.
Bonus, on Thursdays at 8pm they have trivia (hosted by Trivia Time!) so definitely...
