La Cucharita — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I am extremely disappointed in their service . I ordered salchipapas for my three kids ahead of my order since our party was not there yet. The server comes back and informs me there are no more frys hey cool can you replace it with rice. Mind you 30 minutes later my in-laws the rest of my party arrives I still do not have hot dogs and rice. So we finally order a few more people arrive and they order within 25 minutes the people in the back get platopaisa which takes a lot more time and work to make here we are an hour in my kids still have yet to receive hot dogs and rice. I am not upset with my server but what really upsets me was the gentleman in charge of the register as well as server snapping at us telling us because we had a big order it’s taking long. I explained to him I don’t care about my food I understand I ordered that later but for over an hour ago I ordered ahead my children’s food to eat and yet I still have not received it . I paid for our drinks and empanadas and left. They have lost my business I really love supporting local Hispanic owned restaurants I’ve been a fan since global mall but this ! The owners responded on Facebook informing its due to understaffing I understand I kept my patience for over an hour to be blown off by a gentleman who did not have to be rude. My children were well behaved and patiently waiting as well as I was having a seven year old four year old autistic kid and two year old daughter waiting and to be spoken back in a unprofessional tone when I simply asked a question in a calm manner! So, me and my wife went to another colombian restaurant here in nashville and the chicharon was bad and got my wife sick, we also went to medellin colombia to visit some family and unfortunately the whole country was shut down. so no good restaurants were open. My wife was highly disappointed. I am colombian and I have talked very highly of our food. But she's had the worst of luck. Now! We gave La Cucharita Colombian Restaurant a try and let me tell you, not only was the food delicious and on point! we were lucky to be attended by Alfredo and Katalina who did a amazing job attending us and also hearing our luck with colombian food for my wife. I couldn't of been happier with today's experience at La Cucharita Colombian Restaurant. Keep it up guys we will definitely be back many times more. My mom is from Colombia and I was ecstatic to learn there was a Colombian Restaurant near Nashville, so we decided to check it out. The employees were very attentive and kind. We both ordered juice, my jugo de Mango was delicious 😋 I ordered the Pollo de la Planchas which was a ton of food, including the beans and rice plate , a side salad, and fried plantains which were so tasty, and the chicken wasn't overcooked and rubbery as you might expect a pounded piece of chicken to be..infact it was tender and just right, and flavorful. Mom ordered the Arroz Con Pollo which was loaded with ingredients and SO yummy. We even got Empanadas to-go for the following day lol, those were equally impressive and savory !!
