McGaugh's Donuts — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

The food taste is good that is why I came back, but the customer service was really poor. She told me one price and then when I went to go check out it was a whole Nother price wanting more money. She tried to claim that it was taxes, but I already asked her what the cost was for everything. It was just really poor communication from their end. Very unprofessional. Instead of owning up to their mistake, she continued to carry-on, and want to remove donuts out of my order, instead of wanting to do the right thing for their mistake. I was very disappointed in the customer service. That Asian girl should not be working there.

Again, another bad experience…I ordered one dozen of donuts at 5am and I literally live like 3 minutes up the road from them, I asked if I could receive a hot dozen as it was still 5am in the morning, when they delivered it they were freezing cold. They left my food sitting for so long, that literally my iced coffee the ice had done melted, one could literally see the water sitting on top of my coff because it had been sitting so long and not been stirred. When I called they didn’t just grab a fresh hot dozen to deliver to me, especially after I put it very nicely in the special notes. It was some Asian people that could barely speak English. I don’t care what your race it, just treat your customers like it’s because of them that you even have a business..because it is!

Whoever bought this place, treating your loyal customers like this won’t keep them loyal if something doesn’t change… Hope this...

Well, the donuts were delicious. I’m leaving a one star review because the customer service was abysmal. I ordered through GrubHub. I ordered one dozen donuts. I received one donut when I sent my feedback to Grubhub they automatically refunded me (received refund After I called McGaugh’s) I contacted the store because I still wanted my dozen donuts. They instructed me to re-order through Grubhub, which I refused to do because with the added taxes, service fees and tip for the delivery driver I would’ve ended up spending $10 more for a dozen donuts then I should have. So they agreed to send me out 11 donuts. Then they called and said because GrubHub refunded me they weren’t going to send me anything so I’m left here with the one donut when I ordered a dozen. That’s why as delicious as these donuts were, they’ve lost a customer , I shouldn’t have to battle for good customer service. It was their mistake and they should WANT to make their customer whole. Instead here I sit with a single donut where 12 were needed. But hey, I guess in todays world individual customers just don’t matter. Somehow I thought a family owned business would value their...

Damn near the BEST DONUTS I have ever had. If you go in the morning around 7-8am, you can get fresh donuts like glazed, holes, chocolate glazed, and some others. Let me say their fresh glazed donuts just melt in your mouth. They are fluffy and not overly saturated. They also have a good selection for delicatessen donuts like: Oreo, Fruity pebble, maple glazed, and more. They serve some breakfast items also as well as coffee, milk, and chocolate milk. All from Purlty (which is the best Chocolate Milk), IMO.

My girls love stopping here on the way to school, and the prices are good. It's not cheap but not overpriced, either. About 8 bucks for 2 glazed and 12 donut holes and chocolate milk. Our regular order. Line can move slow, so we usually run in for faster pick up!! It's GREAT. YOU should try them...
