I've been to this establishment only two times since I have lived in the East Nashville area. The two times I have visited have been met with disappointment and frustration. The first time I ordered there which was a couple of weeks ago, I tried ordering the blueberry pie which was clearly displayed on the menu and not removed or had a sign over it. They said they were weren't selling the pies anymore. Then why were they still on the menu? You could have at least put a piece of paper over it to block it out so customers wouldn't order it. Then they were out of sweet tea even though they weren't busy at all, my mom and I were the only people in line at the time. Either they had a lunch rush before we arrived or the employees are simply too lazy to make a fresh batch of sweet tea, which in my experience working fast food it does not take much work. Today I visited for dinner because I wanted another chicken sandwich again from my previous experience with ordering one, it was really good. The line was down the street so it was dinner rush time. Now due to my experience with working fast food and in other restaurants, I understand lunch and dinner rush can be overwhelming to a lot of employees, especially those just starting. But these employees seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. They were as slow as a snail, I waited in that line for thirty minutes even though I was maybe the fifth person in line. They made people wait at the window for more than ten minutes and it was like people had to wait an hour just to get satisfied. Apparently the dining room was closed as well too, even though it was 7pm and the restaurant closes at 10pm. We just wanted to order take out but the employees kept telling us we couldn't come into the restaurant, yet when we tried to get in there was ten people waiting in line. Then another couple of people went into the restaurant while my mom and I were sitting in the drive thru. Why let others in but then tell us we can't come in specifically? My mom and I ordered one classic and one spicy chicken sandwich. My mom spoke clearly and slow so that they knew what we were saying. I don't know if it's because their drive thru speaker sounds like it was made in the early 1900s or if they just don't like to follow instructions, but we got two spicy chicken sandwiches. I myself cannot handle Popeyes level of spice so I couldn't even finish my dinner tonight. Thanks Popeyes for making me waste my money. I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere and maybe even see if your Opry Mills location is better than this location. Just a bunch of employees who don't care about their job nor their customers because I saw a bunch of employees not wearing their masks properly when they need to be doing so to prevent the spread of COVID19.
Don't go here folks, only reason I gave two stars because at least my meal was fresh and hot even if it wasn't...
Read moreSince everybody wants to make reviews about popeyes let me make one about yall first off when yall be in drive thru yall wanna take all sweet ass time trying order like yall ain't never been here before and if u haven't been here before come inside so u can take ur time to order and ask questions about the menu. But yall lying is wild like yall really out here taking pictures of half filled up cups talking about we ain't fill it up all the way like u ain't just drink it before taking the picture. And NO u can not change the pieces 5 piece chicken. Also If you want extra sauce it gonna be 27 cent extra if u want wing sauce and u have no wing that will be 75 cents a piece. And another thing if you are told you have to wait on chicken don't be complaining that it taking a minute cause the chicken must be cooked unless yall want raw food and if u do I recommend krogers it right down the street the got chicken there too. Now let's talk about how yall adittudes don't come up here running our day just you having problems we not here for all that we there to give you food and send you on ur way and make sure ur satisfied wit what you ate. Now some times you will have to wait on chicken and the reason for that is cause we is a chicken place and yall eat it all. Yall see how packed we is when u pull up and yall mobile orders be longer then my momma grocery list on Thanksgiving and I am so serious but we appreciate yall for buying from popeys tho. Speaking of mobile orders I ain't gonna lie to these doordashers and uber people be stealing like a mf like they dont care they will steal yall whole meal and we cant do nun cause once they leave the store we are no longer responsible for ur order so yall should start taking screenshots of the people picking it up phone number and all cause it outta hand. We not trying to be rude when yall come to popeyes we just trying to get everybody they food in a good amount of time.
P.s if you want your food remade you got 24 hours to bring back the food...
Read moreReally bad experience. Was told to pull up in drive through for 10 mins. Actually went in after 20. Watched car after car go past and watched customer after customer get served. Finally caught the attention of what appeared to be a manager in a blue button up, asked about my order and was told he had nothing to do with it. Then someone else state that it would be another 8 mins for mild chicken. Young lady with a green button up with title of shift lead had the worst attitude and tried to argue with me because I said since I had to wait for 2 order could you please make sure everything was fresh. She kept repeating the same thing over and over in a very nasty manner "I'll make sure its fresh, since you want to make sure everything is fresh" . Another manager in a orange shirt who was being very polite stepped in because he saw the way she was speaking assured me he would take care of my order. I get it and my potatoes and green beans were smashed... ohh yeah and the same young lady brought my order out and repeated what she said in the store again being nasty. I was afraid to eat it because she was being so nasty. I sent the manager a picture of my smashed side items and he had the GM to call me who at first was being very nasty as well. I told her I felt as though she was being just like the young lady but this time calling me sweety and baby and I preferred not to speak with her anymore. After she took a step back she attempted to replace my order i declined because this trip was such a disappointment i would never go back again. She even tried to refund me my money, I rather not deal with anyone at that store again. She explained that she did discipline the young lady which I do appreciate but I waited well over 30 mins for no reason at all. I was talked to in such an aggressive manner for no reason and at the end of it I got food I was too afraid to eat. Never will I ever eat at this location nor another popeyes ever again. Big waste of time and energy...
