Ok, went here based on a recommendation. Order at the outside window in front of the old black van and get buzzer. Look for a place to sit and nothing available. It's loud too. Not many seats/tables with little organization. Change order to-go. Without receiving any instructions where to receive the ordered pizza, a return to the order window to ask. Pick-up is inside. All that is there is a door to the kitchen area sitting right next to an inside dinning table. Turns out the guy kicks open the door, sets the orders on a table where people are getting utensils, napkins, and some water, and returns to the kitchen. So if you aren't there to get your eat-in pizza, it sits there for flies and whatever else is floating in the air. Mis-comms about my to-go pizza and the grouchy guy is inconvenienced having to return to the kitchen to box 'em up. Time to eat. Soggy crust bottom makes it difficult to eat. The few toppings are sliding off the slice at pick-up from the box. Just not a fan.
As customers, when we are presented with a screen to tip at the time of placing a walk-up order, we are tipping on faith that the whole crew is doing what is expected--providing good food and good service. That's the basics. I'd recommend to not tip, and tip afterwards. However, I'd suspect there is not a tip jar to accommodate...
Read moreI’m giving 4 stars for the pizza only, it was delicious. The restaurant location isn’t bad but the place is associated with the Urban Cowboy and it is so packed. They don’t have waiters or waitresses. You just order at the window and hope to find a seat. They aren’t very clear on where to pick up your pizza either but apparently, they give you a buzzer and you go to the pizza table (pictured) and hope to God no one has breathed or sneezed on it because it was is left out in the open. Would I be back? That’s TBD but next time, I’ll stand next to the table and wait...
Read moreGot a Famous Original and added pepperoni, it was delicious! Ordered it online for pickup and was ready by the time I got there, about 15 minutes on a Friday night around 8pm. We've been going to Urban Cowboy for years and usually get the pizza rolls but decided to finally try the pizza this time and it didn't disappoint. The only negative was realizing the mistake of not trying Roberta's pizza sooner! Crust was fantastic and the caciocavallo cheese was a great touch for this pie. Will have to put Roberta's in our pizza rotation moving forward,...
